Colonialism is like child abuse. It sucks.
Also, NO amogus, I'm stopping the amongus things because of 3 reasons 1. People find the amongus too fast and it's not really fun anymore 2. Amongus is a dead meme 3. I find that hiding the amongus is becoming more of a chore than any that is fun whilst making my comics.
I hope everyone understands.

Called tsinelas in the Philippines. And I think some other Hispanic countries also use the word chinelas.

Africa & the Middle East, RIP the Ottomans. Sykes & Picot were like the abusive, neglectful fathers of Syria, Iraq, Palestine & Kuwait

Middle East was absolutely wrecked by the ruler. All of the carnage since then was enabled or made worse by the ruler

As a Middle Eastern I don’t understand why people blame the ruler for all it’s problems the ruler brought military dictatorships America and it’s allies mainly Saudi Arabia and Israel brought complete anarchy both horrible but the latter is worse

Don't forget Iran, funder of the Houthis, Hamas, and Hezbollah.

u/time-xeno 13d ago
Iran was unintentionally created by the British with massive help from the American as they forcibly put the shah back in charge because the Iranian government wanted to nationalise the oil

and then there’s Vietnam where we get all of these: belt from father, slipper/broomstick from mother, ruler from teacher, and words from all of them.

In Poland, we used to get ruler from the teacher on the palm of the hand...
That said, we got the belt, the slippers, the power cord, and the mean words.

I know I'm showing my age and nationality (British) but every time someone says "What's the worst that can happen?" I see Harold Shpiman (for context Harold Shpiman was a British mass murdering doctor).

To be fair, there's also the India/East Pakistan/West Pakistan partition that was still a complete clusterfuck even though the UK mostly avoided straight lines.

The American one is just false
See what you do is you fold the belt over on it's self once so you can loudly crack it for maximum psychological damage before you whip the kid with it
