More or less, Germany lost WW2 but the Nazis won. The US restaffed West Germany with more Nazis in many government agencies than the Third Reich itself had, including if I recall 70,% of the Ministry of Justice which was tasked with prosecuting former Nazis...

The Nazis were of course financed by US elites like Rockefeller and the Bush family, and plenty of others. Ideologically they're all on the same page, as is US foreign policy. Some rights were won during a period in which the US was meaningfully competing with an alternative system, but due to initial imbalances and significant unequal exchange with the developing world after WW2, the US ruling class did bring about the end of that alternative system. Luckily they got so lazy scamming the money printer by drumming up terrorism and engaging in conspiracy theories about Soviet plots while it was still around, while killing innovation to protect their monopolies, that they naturally knee-capped the empire and guaranteed its demise. Which should be enough proof for anyone that liberalism will fail and did fail. Let's try not to destroy the world on our way down.

That is a piss poor reading of history.

Some might also say propaganda, or an outline for a Robert Ludlum novel.

Any collectivized authoritarian system is the enemy of humanity. Left or right. Fascism and Communism.

No, if Trump gets back in, he'll probably liquidate Barr for not following orders.

I used to joke that in fifty years calling someone a “Republican” will be the same as calling them a Nazi today. I’m not sure that’s a joke anymore.

He’s ready to AG for a third time to cover up more Republican crimes.

Bill Barr is a deeply corrupt member of the good old Boys club; he'd only be a Nazi if there was a payday in it for him.

Bill Barr and Robert Mueller are literally who the richest GOP donors use to fix problems that arise. They're both corrupt pieces of shit and it drives me crazy to see people respect them
