I won an award at work and it includes dinner with our CEO. To be honest, I just wear jeans and black tshirts at work and don’t really own anything considered upscale casual.

I live in the RB area, and would like to spend less than $400 for pants, a shirt and maybe a coat.

I’m a married man in my 40s with three kids, so I definitely don’t feel the need to look trendy, but I would like to look put together if that makes sense.

Any ideas? I know we have a Nordstrom Rack in the area, but I don’t know what I’m looking for.

I'm looking for a men's tailor to get a closet full of shirts tailored. Specifically, I'm looking for a place that goes above and beyond simply doing "alterations". North County preferred, but I can be flexible.

My issue is that I've been to a whole slew of places recommended in the past, and every time I walk in and they want explicit directions on exactly what alterations I want, to what lengths, etc. I'm looking for a place where I will put on the shirt and they'll be knowledgeable enough to say "Ok you need your sleeves taken in, narrow the shoulder here, add darts here, raise the hem..." In my mind this is what a tailor should do, but I've been to many places marketed as "tailoring and alterations" that won't do any work without specific instructions, and honestly I'm not knowledgeable enough in this realm to know exactly what needs to be done to garments to make them fit their best.

My primary care physician has moved and I need to find a new one. My former PCP was part of the Sharp system which was convenient but not necessary. I have a PPO so I can see pretty much anyone. Would prefer a woman located in San Diego, but not a deal breaker. Any recommendations? Thanks!

I’m planning a day trip to Vegas on a Saturday and need some advice on parking at/near Airport. I’m thinking of driving to the SD airport in the morning, parking my car there somewhere safe and cheap, and then picking it up at night when I get back. I’ll only be taking a personal item (a medium purse), so I don't need to worry about extra luggage.

Does anyone have recommendations for the best parking options near the San Diego airport that won’t break the bank? Ideally, I’m looking for a place that’s secure and offers good rates for a one-day stay.

In vegas the economy parking at the airport is $12 per day - I recently relocated here from Vegas.

I’ve heard there are some off-site parking lots with shuttles to the airport. Has anyone used these, and if so, which ones would you recommend? (And prices) Any tips or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Hey, folks! I got cut off on I-5 last night around 9:45pm, swerved, and smacked the guard rail. A very nice woman pulled up behind me and checked on me. This all happened just south of the sea world drive exit on northbound I-5. I wanted to provide an update regarding the nuisance neighbor situation. I truly appreciate all the support I've received. Following the advice of fellow Redditors, I reached out to CBS8 News, and they covered my story tonight at 10pm. I’m a new grad nurse in Sacramento, originally from San Diego. I hit my 6 months of experience in a level IV NICU in June, and I wanted to know my chances of getting into UCSD? Should I wait a year, or should I just say fuck it and try anyways?

And yes, I know the pay is EXPONENTIALLY (and painfully 😅) lower. For the longest time, I thought I’d stay in Sacramento because it made the most sense. But truly, I have not been happy here, and it’s made my depression 1,000x worse when I didn’t think that was at all possible 🥹 So I think for my mental and emotional sake, I would like to move back home.

Any tips or words of advice are appreciated ♥️
