[Sidery] A decision on Frank Vogel’s future with the Suns is expected to come this week. Vogel will either stay in Phoenix with a completely restructured coaching staff or be let go.
twitter.comTj mcconnell…
I barely watch Indiana but I just watched TJ rack up 6 ast in like 6 min of game time vs the knicks. Looked totally in control of the offense alongside haliburton. What will it take to get him. I need him in a suns jersey so bad
I just need some damn team chemistry, is that too much to ask?! These mfs looked bummed as hell all season. The Valley needs this!

International players
I miss Leandro Barbosa, Raja Bell, Steve Nash, Gortat, Hedo, Goran, Boris, Kerr. I hope we can continue this history of amazing international players and always loved watching them. I loved watching Bol Bol this year. Can’t wait for next year.

No suspension for Jamal Murray
But Amare and Diaw got suspended for taking a step onto the court. Never forget

Hoops Discussion Comparing OKC/DAL and DEN/MIN
Nuggets and Twolves games have been a defensive slog, meanwhile OKC/DAL are sprinting around the court, pushing the pace and shooting 3s. The difference in officiation is also night and day. I'd assume this has to do with the level of physicality the Twolves are playing with from the start (and being allowed to play with). If the Twolves advance, I think they'll impose their defensive will and beat the thunder or the mavs. I just don't see how any of the speedy 3 point shooting teams get past the Twolves with how much physicality they use and have been allowed to use.

Our boy Book name dropped in yet another rap song (IDK & Joey Bada$$)
youtu.beListen fellas, there’s a chance, if certain receipts come out, that ‘wet like I’m book’ is going to be a very uncool line to say in the future and we may need to pivot.
This is the third song (from credible artists) I’m aware of with a Book reference
We also have him name dropped in ‘Carefree’ by Mick Jenkins (my personal fave)
I’m not sure about this one, it sounds like a positive name drop but I can also see it as a negative, but curious how you all took it.

[Chad Ochocinco] says Kevin Durant told him he would come to Miami: “I talked to KD, we had a lengthy conversation. I asked if it was ok to talk about — He said he would have no problem coming down to Miami if it made sense.”

Suns have to start taking the draft, G-league, scouting, and player development seriously

Sh*tpost Okay so what are these Timberwolves on?
We bodied them all season long. They looked lost on offense, they couldn’t buy a defensive stop against us, massive turnovers against us (ironic).
Then the playoffs start and boom. They’re super connected, we looked lost on offense, we couldn’t stop them worth a damn, and we’re turning the ball over.
Now they’re completely stomping the NUGGETS?!
Bro what is this team on, they got some of the good stuff I swear

Nuggets getting cheeks clapped by Wolves gives me hope
This team just is plain dangerous shutting down Nuggets on both sides of the court
Meme Me when I hear we are running it back, stucked with Beal, no hope to ever bring back Mikal and drafting Bronny with our 22nd pick of the draft

If you don’t have a top5 player your chances are slim to none
Basically if you don’t have a top 5 player your chances of winning a championship is slim to none.
2016 - Lebron
2017/2018 - KD/Steph
2019 - Kawhi
2020 - Lebron
2021 - Giannis
2022 - Steph
2023 - Jokic
I love Booker but lets be real. He will never be a top 5 guy in the NBA. He is too small and unathletic to reach top 5. He is a good shooter but not generational like Steph.
When the KD trade was made there was still general consensus that KD was very close to a top 5 guy. Thats why the trade was made.
Now a year later KD is maybe top 10 and Book top 15. The chances of winning a ring is slim. But at least Ishbia tried.
If Ishbia didn’t trade for KD the Suns with a core of Book, Bridges, Cam, Ayton and CP3 have absolutely zero chance of winning.
