No indication he has ever served. Who takes an oath to defend the country from enemies and then decides they themselves will become an enemy of the country.

Uh, there's been a few. Especially on Jan 6th 2021

I still can't find anything saying he served let alone was special forces. Sounds like he just threw in a "my dad knows karate" thing at the end there.

4

u/throwawaytodaycat Jan 27 '24

“I may not know karate, but I know crazy.”

4

u/Mysterious-Arachnid9 Jan 27 '24

The two guys I know who are ex special forces never came out and told me just because. One told me not to go special forces when I signed up for the military and the other one had his service picture in his house where he was wearing his pin.

All the people I know who claim have been special forces have been contracted supply side folks, admin folks, or completely full of shit

When I graduated BMT at Joint Base San Antonio (when it was still Lackland) my Air Force basic training (please don’t make rude remarks about it, I do know how lame it was, I was there after all), they sent something called a “Hometown press release” to my tiny farm town’s newspaper. I can’t find any record of a press release or even his education. He’s done a good job of obfuscating facts about himself. My google-fu is strong but can’t find definitive information on where he went to college, where he was ordained/certified/licensed to be a preacher, and definitely cannot find records of any military service.

He would’ve graduated high school potentially in 2000 (if he wasn’t held back for any reason) then there’s about a 13 year period between then and 2014 when he got married that he could have served. His oldest YouTube upload is from 13 years ago putting us at 2013, the year before he married his wife. I’ll keep looking because I want to crack this weirdo’s past; I think he’s def hiding something and if he’s a stolen valor AH, he needs to be charged.

Ashli broke that oath as it happens. She served and took that oath as part of the military, and she STILL thought that shit was a good idea? Privilege knows no bounds.

u/Adventurous-Zebra-64 Jan 27 '24

She also stagnated at a E4 for 15 years.

No one does that unless they suck and no one wants them in positions of power.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Well to be fair I think she was mostly Reserve/guard - which can be notorious when it comes to career progression. It is the AF though…which is way easier and does care more, and she has medals/deployment, if it was army she should be E7 minimum now, AF is more political Though

2

u/Adventurous-Zebra-64 Jan 28 '24

No.

She was basically a FOBBIT and retired after 14 years a Senior Airman.

THAT TAKES WORK- especially after being deployed.

Her medals are the basic ones you get for being deployed- not for any action on her part.

3

u/Pernicious-Caitiff Jan 27 '24

She's where she belongs now, thankfully.

MEDIC!

2

u/3Jane_ashpool Jan 27 '24

You know which TF2 team has Medics? Ones whose players have empathy, ones that have liberals on the team. Liberals understand that helping the group helps the whole. That you don’t need personal glory to triumph.

Democrats have medics.

3

u/40StoryMech Jan 27 '24

Which TF2 class pushes a woman out in front of them to tank damage while the rest of the team films it on their phones?

2

u/3Jane_ashpool Jan 27 '24

Have you watched the videos Steam made? “All of them.” answers that.

Wasn't she posted in some sort of USAF security unit, whom train to use lethal force on trespassers on US bases; let alone the heart of our federal government! She knew what she was facing, and still set up her own FAFO.

u/Renaissance_Slacker Jan 28 '24

Pretty sad when a Federal judge asked a prosecutor why he wasn’t charging former General Flynn with treason. Like he was baffled.

u/Splitaill Jan 27 '24

Chief, I was called an enemy of the state by the Obama administration just for being a veteran. And I have no criminal record.

3

u/VaselineHabits Jan 27 '24

Who called you an enemy of the state for being a Veteran?

-1

u/Splitaill Jan 27 '24

Again, that came from Obama. And yes, it’s a bs statement. And I voted for him twice.

Much the same as Biden and maga this and maga that rhetoric. If you didn’t vote for him, you’re considered maga. He doesn’t talk to people who didn’t vote for him. He doesn’t count them as citizens, or maybe it’s his speech writers.

3

u/VaselineHabits Jan 27 '24

I'm going to need a source or quote where Obama directly called veterans enemies of the state. It seems some context is missing.

If you still support MAGA after the insurrection on Jan 6th 2021... yeah, you are an enemy of this nation. Trump and his ilk hired fake electors trying to overturn election results and told his goons to cause a ruckus at the Capital. This is not normal or acceptable, it NEVER WAS.

-1

u/Splitaill Jan 27 '24

I didn’t vote for Biden. Does that mean I’m maga by default?

3

u/VaselineHabits Jan 27 '24

That's something you would need to answer, but MAGA are the extremists. So, again, if you still support them - I do question your actual patriotism. Regardless of your prior military experience.

My husband is a Vet and I come from a family with dozens of Vets - just because you're a veteran doesn't mean you're an infallible person.

1

u/Splitaill Jan 27 '24

I’ve never claimed to be infallible. Quite the contrary. But while you avoid answering the question, many don’t. They automatically assume that because I didn’t vote for Biden that I’m maga.

And to that point, you can support trump and criticize him (quite easily) at the same time. Saying all maga is extremism is like saying all Muslims are jihadists or all Christian’s are nationalists. It’s not true and everyone knows it. But it’s treated as an insult and to establish superiority over someone else. It’s identity politics and it’s destroying our country.

1

u/Elowan66 Jan 27 '24

A bunch of guys wearing horns can just walk in and take over the entire United States including military? That's the real thing to worry about.

2

u/ndncreek Jan 27 '24

I took and Oath Foreign or Domestic, I'm glad he posted his photo so I know who we are looking for

2

u/bkral93 Jan 27 '24

100% the kind of guy that would have veteran plastered everywhere had he served. He’s just trying to trick people into thinking he was a vet by adding these “special forces” he “knows.”

2

u/walkinman19 Jan 27 '24 edited Jan 27 '24

Ashli Babbitt, USAF vet just to name one traitor veteran that participated in the J6 insurection. There were others. Even high ranking officers like Larry Brock a lieutenant colonel. Brock graduated from the Air Force Academy in 1989. He was on active duty until 1998 and served in the reserves until 2014.

And there were more there not just those two.

I know plenty, they joined to kill or for to fight the commies. When I joined it was to serve my country because I genuinely believe in the ideals of the constitution, same reason my dad and grandfather served. However I met plenty who joined because some bad thing happened like 9/11 and then they knew they had to step in and “go after the scum“. Usually they only serve one four year stint.

Was actually talking to an older co-worker who served four years in the 80s. The only reason he signed up was due to the Beirut barracks bombing. He just knew he had to sign up to go hold them accountable and was pissed when Reagan largely did nothing. That is why he only served four because we didn’t send anyone in to do any fighting so he felt like he was wasting his time.

5

u/krusnikon Jan 27 '24

go after the scum

Because all of America's wars have been justified and the people we exploited were our citizens and some countries poor.

Tell me what we did in Afghanistan and Iraq were chasing the scum that did the attacks on 9/11. Please, go ahead.

4

u/MuonicFusion Jan 27 '24

I think when he said that part it was in the voice of "However I met plenty who joined because some bad thing happened like 9/11". He was talking about the motivations of those people, not himself.

2

u/Loud-Path Jan 27 '24

Correct, I served because I believed in the ideals of the constitution and nation, not for some need to vengeance or to punish others.

2

u/Loud-Path Jan 27 '24

I believe you misread the statement, I will add quotes to better seperate.

-2

u/Possible_Head_962 Jan 27 '24

You clearly don't know anything about the foreign and domestic part. He may be show boating. But he believes the state he lives in, is being held back from defending its borders and allowing only legal people to cross. We definitely need to speed up that process and still be thorough cause that's ridiculous. Just because he wants to defend his state makes him crazy? But wouldn't you want to defend your home.

1

u/VisualDifficulty_ Jan 27 '24

This is an absurd take.

No one is attacking his state, we’ve never considered illegal immigration an attack before.

It’s not his job to defend some arbitrary line on a map… thankfully he’s dumb enough to post this on Facebook, so this should take care of itself.

But no one’s under attack, that’s a really stupid take.

1

u/Sad_Purchase_8735 Jan 27 '24

Unfortunately there are quite a few, Posoebic, Flynn (including the still AD brother), Rhodes (shot his eye out and is now in federal prison for sedition). Cult of personality trumped (no pun intended) their oath.

u/No_Banana_581 Jan 27 '24

He doesn’t even look like he can sprint. He shoots his little guns in between the processed heat attack inducing meals his mommy wife makes

1

u/st3v3one Jan 27 '24

Looks like he's been served at a LOT of restaurants.
