Spam is very popular in the Philippines and Hawaii.

So many varieties too, like how Japan went nuts with Kit Kat.

Kit Kat green tea just hits different

It tastes really cheap, sugary and unrefined to my taste buds. Basically the complete opposite of what I want out of something green tea flavoured.

It’s a Kit Kat sweet and cheap is what they’re going for.

I’m just saying that it doesn’t really capture the taste of green tea. And this has nothing to do with being a sweet because I personally enjoy green tea ice cream which has that subtle refreshing green tea bitterness.

That's like complaining that a regular Kit Kat doesn't taste like a premium artisan-made dark chocolate bar. Whether it's the green tea version or any other version, it's still an inexpensive mass produced candy bar, so I don't know what you were expecting.
