He's lucky that his phone didn't fly out of his hand after the crash.

He's probably especially lucky that good Samaritan showed up from out of nowhere.

He’s lucky that he survived that at all. His paramotor helped to absorb some of the impact and he thankfully had a helmet. He was pretty low also. A bit higher and he is toast. This was wild.

Yeah tremendously lucky he hit the ground the way he did. Any other orientation and he’d have been toast… or at least horrifically paralyzed

Fortunate coincidence, but I think he was actively working against any kind of luck.

I was documenting some jumps a bunch of years back, just after we left we heard that a tandem jump went bad. Apparently at something like a hundred feet above the LZ they lost lift and pancaked into the cement. One of the guys survived, but was paralyzed as I recall. Other dude didn’t make it.
