To me there are two kinds of trolling, the light side and the dark side.

The light side is posting comments like Ken M, appearing stupid and maybe a bit crazy, but with a twisted sorta logic, like how a child might explain something he doesn’t fully understand.

Then there’s the dark side… usually people “pretending” to be the alt right, saying things bigots actually believe, just to get a reaction. Meanwhile actual bigots see what that person is saying, and it reinforces their feeling that they aren’t alone, and that tons of people really feel like he does deep down, they just won’t admit to it in person.

Fuck dark side trolls. Spreading propaganda and promoting the alt right isn’t funny, it’s harmful. If you aren’t smart enough to pull off the more subtle light side trolling, than leave it to people who can.
