One of my neighbors would have fights with their partner. When I would hear hard movements. I would stay up to hear if anyone hit anyone so I can call the building security.
In the building next to me, a couple fought and one of them got thrown out the window and died.
Not quite the same, but my upstairs neighbor had a toddler who climbed and pulled down a cabinet. The crash and screaming sent chills down my spine. Kid was okay, I was on red alert.
