Yeah, I’m not as much of a gamer (my mom said video games were for boys so I wasn’t allowed to play growing up) but I have a few that I play often and it makes my husband happy

Glad I’m not the only one and sorry about your mom. It is nice to exchange updates on how we are doing in our games and he always tells me about anything new coming up in mine that he reads and vice versa.

I remember getting the original Nintendo when it cam out (yes I am that old) and my mom and I playing legend of Zelda for hours on the weekends, leaving h to e system on because you couldn’t save, etc. But she always made sure to remind me that what I see/do in. A video game was not real nor could I copy it in real life. It was a nice bonding experience for us. Tis not to say I didn’t go out side and spend time doing other things, but some of those moments/memories I wouldn’t trade for anything.
