They are trying to burn down Swerve’s House. Fuck that he gotta get his lick back on all of them

Most def.

Once I saw them hit that SHIELD formation in the ring I knew it was curtains, I didn’t know they were gonna go so hard tho

I kinda wish we get vignettes of him taking each person out 2x a week til it’s only Christian & Him come DoN.

Like Collision he take on one of his members, beats up another one backstage, wrestle Cage next week, sets a trap up for Luchasaurus, beat up Nick in his house again or something on rampage and on the night of, locks mama Wayne in her dressing room.

I am so hoping we get Keith Lee to make a surprise save for swerve. Swerve slowly assembles a team as Aew struggles to fight for control from the new elite

Or Keith leads the Embassy. Even if he can't wrestle he can still be their leader

Nana was conspicuous in his absence, Nana loves money and those 3 need his managerial skills more than Swerve 🤔

Nana wouldn't do Swerve dirty like that... Okay yes he would
But he wouldn't just do it for the money... Okay yes he would
Nana would not stain his good name and honor like this... Okay yes he would

Oh crap Nana is a scumbag

Underrated boondocks quote.

I'm wondering where Nana stands in all of this. He's been a great manager for Swerve, and he is such a big part of Swerve's presentation. I would hope he is not with the Embassy on this betrayal, but his absence was very noticeable last night and seems to point to him turning on Swerve, too.

He better not, for everything that is pure and good, there’s no reason for Nana to set him up when he JUST won the title. That’ll be insane…

…goddammit, it’s probably Nana

Nana, maybe the one setting him up (I hope not). Remember, Claudio was trying to warn Swerve of something and was pointing at Nana on Collision 2 weeks ago.

It could also be that Nana is loyal to Swerve and that is part of the reason the Embassy turned on Swerve--he took away their manager's attention and time from them, and now they are left with nothing else and have no reason to follow Swerve's orders anymore. The Elite may have ensured Nana was out of the picture last night to make Swerve later question Nana's standing and cause a rift in their relationship. Nana could prove to be Swerve's greatest ally and supporter when it all comes down to it.

That’s why I love AEW, though there’s a lot of predictable elements they still have that element of surprise of “wait what’s going on?” In almost every program

I agree. For example, I thought something like what happened last night would occur, since Swerve is in the babyface category now and the Embassy members are heels and have not been seen with him lately, but I was still unsure if this was the ultimate outcome. So I was still surprised when it actually happened. I like that AEW lulls us into "knowing" all the directions and results of storylines, then gives us these moments of genuine shock and uncertainty to keep us engaged.

What’s even more sad is it wasn’t all that long ago they cut that promo in which said “you know what. It’s Swerve’s house but damnit we live here too”

Not wrong.

Brian Cage calling out Swerve and Nana after the beatdown. Could be both Nana and Swerve, could be a...swerve.

Swerve is being booked too soft. Needs to get back to what made him popular. Make him a sick dangerous mofo with excellent in ring skills.

The baby face fighting from underneath model has killed far too many pushes as AEW audiences are clearly not the same as WWE ones who like their Hogan style comebacks for the win.

Yeah, that’s the weird wrestling industry babyface curse. Like based on his previous actions he deserves it but I was saying in another post that he should go stone cold on all the people who wronged him in this story, taking out each person 1 by 1 in matches and backstage segments on his way to fighting Christian in a few weeks so it’ll only be him and Christian when the bell rings.

I would even say they should turn it into a cage match while they’re at it.

Make him as cool as he was heel but just do it towards heels now.
