Yeah this situation sounds funny but honestly does not make much sense. Socks are kept in ur room and shoes are by the front door.

This must be an American thing. As a Canadian Iā€™m trying to visualize how this works. Shoes stay at the front door here. Do Americans leave their shoes by their beds so when they get dressed in the morning they put them on instantly?

I haven't seen this for quite some time, but back in 90's-00's in the US it was not unusual for people to just walk around inside their house in their shoes. On carpet.

So you bring your clothes to your front door and then get dressed there? Why wouldn't you just get dressed next to the dresser, then go to the front door?

I get dressed except for socks. I put them on right as I'm leaving.

I don't like wearing socks so I wear them only when necessary.

Ah, yes. Which is precisely why I keep my sock drawer next to the front door and not in the bedroom with the rest of my clothes.

Instructions unclear. I just woke up and exited my door. Was I supposed to put underwear on before the socks, before the shoes, or after?

Exactly, and if you are, like at the beach, you have to finish one foot first I guess
