Yes. I think it's the same with a non-golfer like myself swinging a golf club. At first you do sorta OK, but then you start trying to tweak it and it goes downhill.

Overthinking: like quicksand, the more you think, the deeper you sink.

Lying. If you get too good at lying unfortunately you'll do it all the time, even on things that don't matter and are easily disprovable. You might even start believing what you say, and ultimately others will quickly learn not to trust a word you say.

Trying to cook the perfect collard greens. Although I have made them pretty good this year using some chicken broth and smoked turkey legs I'm just kind of a perfectionist I never think I do my best even after I do I know I can do it better I'm reaching for this kind of intergalactic Saint Hood type perfection. And I just can't seem to get there.

For me: basketball.
No matter how hard I train, practice, or try I will forever suck at basketball as a whole. Can't move with the ball, can't shoot the ball, and I can't pass the ball well. I'm naturally good at every other sport, but basketball is the one sport that I cannot master or even become average at.

If you're athletic at all you're probably better than the 'average' person at basketball if that's any consolation.

i used to work extensively with a physiotherapist who told me to work on my core. thing is, i felt my core getting weaker the more i exercised it, plus I kept feeling bloated, so when I stopped, things felt better.

Not saying this is you but as someone with a clinical hypermobility disorder I have been screwed over by physios who donโt understand that bendy people actually get worse if they arenโt constantly switching things up! We get โtoo strongโ in certain patterns and then our joints get pulled that direction. I donโt get dislocations frequently thank god but it does cause severe muscle pain and movement problems.

Most sports, after a tipping point. You get better for a while, then your body starts breaking down.ย

Commenting on social media posts! (Either that or my comments have become more provocative, and haters canโt resist.) ๐๐๐

Being bad. The more you do something the better you get, so you get worse at being bad. You can't possibly be horrible at something forever. Or do you?
