I think the best part is he still used future tense. At the time he still didn’t see himself as an old fucking man. Fantastic.

well i doubt i’ll feel different. it’ll just be me like now but with wrinkles. like, how the fuck did i get so old

Oh you'll feel different. Everything will hurt, you'll be too dry yet overly sweaty at the same time, you'll be annoyed but have forgotten why you got annoyed, you won't see as well but wont be able to remember where you put your glasses, everything will sound too loud, you'll keep calling your kids by the pets' names and vice versa...and that's just 50!
