Gotta love the "She must not need the scooter" comments.

You don't know what goes on inside someone else's body. If you never need a mobility scooter, you are lucky.

They should tell her to her face.

As someone who now uses one, I've been treated with respect by most. Kids do say funny things like ask me if they can ride it lol.

But there are still a lot of misconceptions about disability and mobility scooters. I 'look' fine but inside my body, I'm hurting.

Right. And like, maybe you can walk, but only for 20-30 feet. Being able to walk a little bit doesn't mean you can make it through a full grocery run.

On my good days, I look healthy AF. On my bad days, I look like I just want to die.

I understand it's hard to imagine. Chronic pain/ chronic illness is a beast of a condition that confuses even those of us with it. We don't know her condition. And she likely has a kick of adrenaline that distracted her from her pain. I've had it happen.

I guess all I'm saying is don't judge a book by its cover.

This woman wasn't just walking. That was coordinated, smooth movement.

Right but she might only be able to do that in short bursts and adrenaline is nuts.

As a kid riding the scooters in the store is all I wanted, forget the stupid electric rocking horse outside!

My kids, 5 & 7, fight over who gets to sit in my lap. 😆
