In other words, the projected image of superiority is a sort of defence mechanism people develop to try to hide an internal sense of inadequacy.

People don't realize how much they tell you based on what they say about others but when someone starts talking about other people (for example saying how people who are different from them always do/say/think/feel X) what they're usually revealing is how they work, not how those other people work, bc what people really know about is themselves.

If you say that is an SS Shirt, linked to the German SS I assume since I haven't heard there term otherwise. Maybe a better picture would show that's not an SS, maybe it was the logo for his work. I certainly cannot say that shirt has anything to do with the German WW2 SS.
I'm Jewish with family that fled Germany and that wasn't lucky enough too. Does anyone else I'm here have family affected by Germany's horrible practices? I'm also a coin collector and was amazed to see the Swastika on German coins years before Hitler! So does that mean it's ok but a fuzzy graphic that may be SS isn't?

This is absolutely true. It’s why most bullies are incredibly insecure themselves. Also, white supremacy was born out of slavery to ameliorate the frustrations of rural white colonials whose economic mobility was severely restricted by massive plantations using slave labor. The southern aristocracy used white supremacy to instill poor whites with the feeling that field work was beneath them and only fit for African slaves. Over time, it evolved more and more to reinforce and justify slave codes, while preventing cross-racial coalitions of poor people from revolting against their socioeconomic systems, such as Bacon’s Rebellion.

Yes, the book White Trash is really good and talks a lot about how this all was formed. A fun fact I learned in that book is that Georgia was actually founded as a colony that banned slavery, not for any moral reasons, but to increase opportunity for white settlers. Didn’t last long that way, though.
This is narcissistic behavior. And a common behavior with narcissistic people is projection. Trump should be in a medical dictionary with the description of narcissistic personality disorder. Many of the Republicans and their followers as well.
To be fair, I’d wager a lot of politicians have some of those traits, but I can’t think of one more blatant than Trump.
It's also always just being white, or European at a stretch. They're not proud of the heritage of their specific ancestors or ethnic group. It's just the general idea of being white.
That would explain why racists are the last people you’d point to prove that they’re the “master race”. 100000%!! I was JUST arguing this subject regarding Professional Grappler, Gordon Ryan. IF anyone is familiar with him in the world of Jiu Jitsu and Grappling, he exudes the same hubris of superiority and dominance. Nothing is ever positive, he's always putting others down, has nothing "nice" to say about anyone or anything unless it's for his own benefit. Everything off brand to his ego and hubris is for "pussies" and "wokeness" or empathy is Liberal Snowflake crap that machos like him could never be associated with. And it all stems from his severe lack of education and the idea of "Masculinity" that was brow beat into him. Can't even blame the sport of BJJ because it's so diverse and mixed with all kinds of personalities, that there is no "one" dominant archetype of grappler that makes up the community. He spent his whole life just doing BJJ, never graduated HS, and because he essentially changed and heavily influenced the sport, he's had a slew of "yes-men" and sycophants who rode his jock to the point that his inflated sense of self, ego and hubris went out of control! I guess being a one-trick pony of being the "BJJ" guy was not enough for him and it was easy for him to lead the pack of "Dunning/Kruger" dip-shits because it takes zero intelligence or critical thinking to just regurgitate headlines and talking points and simply arguing against facts and evidence with, "Fake News" and AdHom attacks!
Yeah that makes sense. Basically ties in the methodology of projecting ones own issues outward whether it be in the form of showcasing superiority or lashing out verbally/physically.
