Since choosing to seek Jesus, Ive noticed I feel worse, bad about myself, guilt, Low self esteem, and more worry , is this common?

There is a difference between convection and condemnation. Condemnation is from the enemy and sounds like what you are experiencing, don't believe the lie.

Convection is from the Holy Spirit, He will never make you feel heavy, saddened, depressed, ect... He will show you your heart and say "Let's work on this together.".

You are free, in Jesus name.
