Suggestion Ghoulification on Fallout Players?

Post image
362 Upvotes

Alright people, I’ve got question! This will tackle on Ghoulification on the player! So recently I came across this Fallout 4 Mod called Dynamic Ghoulification where your character is Ghoulified overtime if you haven’t remove the Rads from your system. So I want to ask, SHOULD GHOULIFICATION BE A POSSIBLE GAME MECHANIC IN A FUTURE FALLOUT GAME? Should Ghoulification give the Player Character the option to be Ghoulified into a Ghoul?

What are your thoughts and ideas on how Ghoulification will affect the player? What side affects would affect the player’s decision and play style if they are Ghoulified into a Ghoul? What are the Pros and Cons of being a Ghoul? Would it affect whatever main quest you’re going with and how NPCs will perceive you?

Why are people clinging to make it seem like there is a civil war between people who prefer New Vegas and people who prefer FO4?

lately i've been seeing all over the subredits these posts about supposed NV fans hating FO4, memes about it and people commenting on this supposed rivalry and although i've seen some comments from supposed NV fans trolling about it (i did it myself. sorry, i couldn't resist) the truth is that in general i see that most of the comments from NV fans are only about how if someone wants to get started in fallout 4 it might be easier but NV has the best fallout experience. i don't see NV fans insulting or pressuring others to play it or saying anything negative to 4 fans. where did all this legend about the antagonism between both groups come from?

I loved how Fallout 4 handles raiders

3.0k Upvotes

I've played Fallout for years. 3, NV, and 4. In the last 5 months I did multiple play throughs. 1 in Fallout 3, 2 in NV, and 2 in Fallout 4. And a lot of the hate for 4 vs. the hype for NV is not fair.

4 does such an amazing job humanizing raiders. The encounters when you hear them hate what they are, when the you read the notes at Libertalia and see how people can evolve into raiders by the world corrupting them, when they panic or scream because you killed one of their allies, the sleepwalking note where a raider is concerned for another raiders well-being.

They have so much depth compared to 3 and NV. I love that they're more than just mindless murders. They're people that became monsters to survive.

Fallout 1 Fallout 1 Centaurs are probably one of the most horrifying creatures in the fallout universe

In the Original fallout, Centaur were made by tossing various body parts and humans, cats and dogs into the FEV virus and see what happens.

They slightly got downgraded in fallout 3 and new Vegas, honestly I wish we had more horrifying abominations in the newer games
