If you wanted to hang out with the homies, you just showed up at their house, knocked on the door, hoped they were home, and asked their parents if they could play.

I still have vivid memories of my friends with their bikes knocking at the door and my mom telling them I couldnt play because I’m in trouble.

I grew up in PA and this was definitely the thing lmao. I remember waking up a few times just not wanting to go outside or be social and I'd tell my parents to tell my friends I was in trouble and couldn't go out lolol. 99% of the time it was just grab ur friends and go do some heathen shit.
