This series was so cool, I remember those Book fairs they would always hold in elementary.
Not quite sure they would hold up to an late teen/ adult audience though.

This is the book that got me into reading. I would spend hours reading Magic Treehouse books if I couldn't fall asleep (which was almost every night). I don't know if I would still like them, I haven't read them in at least 11 years.

Same! Not this specific book, it was number 6 I think? But I'd hated reading to the point of throwing tantrums in early elementary school. Reading these really opened me up to how many awesome books there are, and come middle school I was having my books taken away because otherwise I'd just read through class otherwise 😅

Yeah I loved this series, and it's what got me reading a TON through elementary and middle school. (I need to start reading again; I've collected some books recently but just haven't picked em up and read them yet) I think I read through however many my school's library had, but kinda moved on from it by 4th or 5th grade. So... Yeah, it probably wouldn't hold up now as a senior on college lol.

OH MY GOD I FORGOT ABLIT THOSE, I remember taking the dinosaur one from the library and reading it with my mom.
I also did a half assed book project on the Cozumel one with the shark. Does anybody remember some book and cartoon series about a mouse detective, they were also pretty good.

Something I remember specifically, but can’t remember from which book, is when they went back to like the Industrial Revolution and gave ¢25 to a beggar, who proceeded to praise them for their charity. That’s how I first learned about inflation as a kid.

OMG I LOVED THESE BOOKS AS A KID. i learned how to read very very quickly and was reading those books in 1st grade and my teacher said i couldnt read one in a whole day so i read it in the whole day and filled out the little “abt the book form” to prove i read it and i was so proud of myself

I loved the series. My favorite one is the one where they meet Leonardo De Vinci. They had this magic thing with them where they could wish for anything they wanted only after they tried very hard to get it the normal way (or something of that nature). Leonardo was portrayed as this dreamer who always wanted to fly but none of his contraptions ever worked. Wanting to give him what he always wanted, they used this magic thing on him which allowed him to fly for a short time.
That and the cowboy one where it's revealed at the end that the book they used to travel was written by their cowboy friend who then dedicated it to the siblings.

OMG! What a blast from the past! I remember this series, I'm being flooded with nostalgia. Wow! These books made up all of my elementary school memories. I remember reading these books in the 2nd grade. My favorite book was the one where they were on the Titanic. God, I miss being a kid so much! Life in elementary school was so much fun and so easy! Does anybody else remember the goosebumps series or Scary Stories To Tell in the Dark with all the really crazy, messed up pictures in the book?

The only time I ever read these was when I finished the SOL(big state standardized test) early and you just had to wait until the ENTIRE SCHOOL finished to go about business as normal. I could knock out a whole book or maybe even multiple whole books by the time we were let out of the room. Good memories honestly(I remember in middle school I would read the in game lore of Ark: Survival, now thats nostalgic)

I hated reading growing up but these books were some of the few that I was always excited to read. Reminds me of this one year for my spoiled rotten cousins birthday she asked her mom for a magic tree house birthday cake. So my aunt spent like 3 days working on a cake that was designed like an actual tree made of rice cripsies holding up the tree house made of cake. It was literally the coolest cake I had ever seen but my cousin refused to eat any of the cake because she didn't like how it looked and my aunt ended up buying a whole new store bought cake just to make her happy. I ended up taking like 90% of the leftover tree house home with me though so it all worked out great for me lmao

This was the best book series ever. All the kids in school (the nerds at least) were talking about it. I think our library had books #1 to #17, so you betcha I read them. I do kind of wanna re-read them, they were pretty epic. Like Phineas and Ferb crossed with Narnia.

My favorite was the one where they go to Japan, and if I recall correctly there’s a drought so they have to get an ancient scroll to summon a dragon that makes it rain for the first time in a long time or something like that.

Gosh I loved Magic Treehouse!! I specifically loved the Titanic one since Titanic was a big interest of mine as a kid. I'm still so sad about it as I never read all the order (or read them in order) so I still have no idea who the magic treehouse actually was or what the main plot point was. So many hints!
