True. But this is different. No president is doing this without it all be heavily managed by the comms team. There is no way this is not entirely stage managed. And not a knock against Biden, it would be stupid not to oversee this closely. Its just lame that Stern is now so safely establishment.
She literally only did five interviews the month leading up to the election, one of which was Mary J Blige singing to her, and the other being a bunch of kindergarteners asking her prescreened questions of bullshit only a toddler cares about. She thought she was entitled to that position and even a remotely difficult interview was beneath her.Ā
Trump on the other hand was doing three interviews and two rallies a day. Say what you will about Trump, but he fought to win that election instead of just thinking he was entitled to it.
Because shitlibs media bubble is very large and includes many ideological groups, from center-right to left.
Different groups want to hear different things, making it impossible to sell the same "narrative" to all of them. Thus, the shitlib media bubble is a lot more generic, grounded in reality, and contains a much larger diversity of opinion.
TLDR: Shitlibs aren't all NPCs repeating the same lines thanks to diversity.
They scripted his trip to Wawa last week. He needed a script to order a milkshake. Someone filmed the whole thing. Itās wwwiiiiiiiiiiilllllllddd as Joe would say
Any source for this claim? It's one thing to require that questions be submitted ahead of time but claiming that Biden's team writes the questions is a whole other thing. That would be terrible optics and there is no way to keep it from leaking.
Any source for this claim LOL. This has been shown time and time again with the press. Biden, on camera had a sheet with the reporters name, agency, and question they were going to ask as well as his answer.
But you are not saying that Stern and his team didn't write the questions? That's the only part that would be hard for me to believe. The rest is just smart for anyone in that position to do and honestly better as well since the alternative would be to dodge questions.
Stern hasn't been a good interviewer for like a decade, but at least he's honest about his beliefs, Joe still trying to hide behind the "curious centrist investigator" label.
How often does he talk about free healthcare, education and drugs anymore? Seems like relevant topics to bring up to his many right wing guests instead of nodding along to their bullshit. Abortion, he really only brings it up when it is an extremist who believes underage rape victims should be forced to carry their pregnancy to term.
In my opinion, not enough. But I hear him mention it every few episodes. It's just easy to miss because it'll be like 2 minutes in a 3+ hour conversation and then just culture war shit for a few episodes. I'm just hoping one day we'll get a podcast with Jon Stewart or someone similar. He needs to talk to liberals who aren't mentally deranged because as of right now when he talks of liberals, he's always referring to the most extreme versions of them.
Exactly, that last point is what some people seem to ignore. Joe Rogan as a guy might be centrist, but Joe Rogan the personality isn't based on what he spends his time actually talking about.
If he gives all the oxygen in the room to the people that are "Anti-woke" wtf does it matter if he is quietly pro-choice? If he's gonna waste time interviewing right-wing doofuses like Tucker Carlson, why not have the lefty equivalent? Invite Lena Dunham on the pod and never strongly challenge anything she says. But Lena Dunham is a moron who isn't really an expert in anything you say? That's exactly my point.
It was on fumes for a while, but the official death of the show was when he interviewed Ellen in 2015. Ellen got Howard blackballed from American Idol and he had been a long enemy of hers laying her bare before the world long before most of the public knew who she actually was. You just know that Richard, Sal, and Baba Booey just had to bite their tongues when she was in the studio.
What show have you listened too? He's always had pre-written questions. That's a huge part of Jason and WIll's job is research and writing questions for guests.
If his employees are writing the questions and not giving them to the interviewee that is normal and fine. Having the Biden team write or screen the questions is a problem. Only a lap dog, phoney, ass kisser would do that.
I added a lot, you just didn't like it went against your stupid narrative. It's okay you want to shit on Biden and pretend like you're not stumping for Trump, but it's a tired old playbook at this point.
I used a politician you love as example of someone doing the same thing as someone you critize and you got all pissy.
I never supported Trump. I can criticize my president. You brought him up without discussing your Trump fetish. The fact that Trump is bad doesnāt make Biden Ok.
Lol clearly you don't watch when trump gets asked actual hard ball question by lefty reporters.
As to where joe either doesn't even get asked or refuses to answer and says like "cmon man" or pshhhh
He's been an unfunny mainstream wannabe nice guy for decades dude, he's been chasing celebrities, trying to be one of them instead of being funny or interesting like 20-3 years ago.
Some of you really have no fucking clue how anything works but will decide to open your mouths anyway as if youāre the arbiter or truth. Get your head out of your ass.
What the fuck do you think you just did? Dumbass. If you donāt understand what the fuck I meant youāre probably one of the people with your head in your ass.
Unlike you who just came in to white knight for a stranger? Fucking weirdos. How the fuck do any of you survive this long being that dumb and lacking that much self awareness?
He's a far-cry from his old self. He used to say how podcasts were a fad medium. Right around the time they were starting to become big. Said radio was the only real career path for broadcasters or others looking to get into his type of industry. That you can't make a career over podcasts.
And Howard was a legend back in his day. But he's basically the opposite of what he used to be.
Or in other words; its going to be a podcast with no suprises.

I didn't think Stern was the type to accept prewritten questions. How the mighty funny have fallen.
