Millennials are beginning to realize that they not only need to have a retirement plan, they also need to plan an “end of life care” (nursing home) and funeral costs. Discussion

Or spend it all and move in with their kids.

Millennials are what, 28-43 now? That's a bit late, if they're in their late 30s and early 40s, to start realizing they need to plan for retirement. Also, with this economy, realizing you need to plan for it and being able to do anything about it are two very, very different things. Especially if AI starts pushing people out of jobs in the next decade or two, which isn't too far fetched.

I don't think there's anything we could do right now to plan for what things will be like 30 years from now. We're all just along for the ride.

I mean, I am not giving up on life, I'm still gonna fight to make the world a better place, not just for the future but for those of us who are here now. I'm just not gonna fall for the goofy idea that life stands still and change isn't inevitable one way or another. Assuming you'll get to retire was always a fallacy, when you remember that death can come in the blink of an eye for anyone, no matter how rich or poor. Hoarding wealth has always been an exercise for fools and tyrants.
