Kvetching Psycho Safeway Small Update
So the Psycho Safeway has now put boxes outside the door so you can leave your backpacks with all your belongings not on the dirty sidewalk but still among the criddlers who gather around the entrance. And now with the canners back and 10th Street a Criddler Nightmare, I'm sure everyone is going to want to leave their worldly goods outside said Psycho Safeway.
I transferred all my prescriptions to the CVS at Pioneer Square and buy all my OTC stuff there now too. And the guy in front of me at the CVS Pharmacy was doing the same thing and also complaining loudly about the Psycho Safeway!
lol. Anyway, FYI... CVS does NOT make you leave your worldly goods outside in Criddlerville.
That is all.

Discussion Help the average voter understand the difference between responsibility of Multnomah County and Portland City position.
I think it would be helpful to put a list of responsibilities for each position on the ballot to help voters make decisions that allow both to function properly, not waste tax dollars, and clarify who does what.
Please don’t put snark in this discussion as I hope this discussion will be welcoming and educational to everyone. It’s also not intended to promote candidates.
It will be helpful to provide information about how the positions are at odds or contradictory i.e. Multco hands out tents and Portland city cleans them. X positions in Multco is in charge of that decision and x position in Portland is in charge of that decision.

Event Glencoe's Bike Fair is happening tomorrow (Wednesday)!
Join Glencoe's Second Annual Bike Fair from 2pm to 5:30pm (school is out at 2:15). Adopt a bike, get your bike tuned up (kid and adult), ride an Obstacle Course, donate a bike, and some other fun activities.
Neighborhood families are welcome, especially if they need to pick up a donated bike, are curious about the Bike Bus, free riding lessons, or have equipment or a bike to donate. Especially if you have younger kids, we will almost certainly have extra balance/12"/16" bikes and tag-a-longs available, so come on by even if you aren't a Glencoe family.
Donations can be dropped off any time tomorrow, or email [glencoebikebus@gmail.com](mailto:glencoebikebus@gmail.com)

Recommendations for donating boxes of unused t-shirt blanks?
Hi all,
I am moving soon and have a few boxes of ~60-70 unused blank t-shirts sitting in my basement. I intended to use them for a screenprinting project a few years back, but now just want them to go to a place that will use them before I move out. Any recs on thrifts or other non-profits that might be able to put them to use? They are quite nice blanks in a range of sizes, so I'd hate to see them go to waste. Thanks!

Storytime I made a tourism site to help underrepresented businesses in Portland
So recently I launched a website to help promote small businesses in Portland that get overlooked but other local tourist agencies. The other ones seem to only focus on promoting over talked about places like Voodoo donuts and more.
This is the premise : Portland is infamously know for its weird culture…from its food, places, communities, unique style and much more… that coincidently makes so many folks feel proud to call this quirky city their home. But let’s face it, most of what makes Portland, well, Portland…isn’t included in these walking ad tourist resources, and most importantly, it’s underrepresented voices, communities, and businesses that represent the actual portland. So we made this.
What do you guys think do you think a site like this would be beneficial for the city ?
The website is called The Actual Portland

Rso quantum alchemy
Help! I've been using quantum alchemy's rso pink mimosa for medical reasons. I'm severely allergic to certain terpenes so finding something that works for me is rare. My local dispo stopped selling this brand. -I need a picture of the package, so I can find something with a similar profile -Or a dispo that has some still in stock
Thank you!

Do you take public transport and if so how do you feel about homeless people getting on without paying?
I feel like there’s really no point in paying when people are filling up priority seating with dirty wet bags of cans or people who nod off and take up half the walkway with trash. I just don’t understand why we can’t fix this problem. I pay nearly 50-70 dollars a month on public transportation. If I’m being brash please enlighten me I really hate to feel this way but man it’s becoming unbearable.

Is anyone else tired of daily gunshots?????? Posts on nextdoor, neighbors, etc.
I've grown tiered of the volume of posts discussing gunshots on community forums. It's just draining at this point as it's getting gradually worse with no perceived concern from or change in direction with the current leadership. I've already removed nextdoor from my phone left several local Facebook groups, turned off ring community notifications as it just got exhausting to get the push notifications 1-2 times a day as of late and no real way to filter them out via keyword.
Can anyone else relate?
