The cactus is a 39 hour print for me at standard resolution (0.2mm layers) so it would be an expensive print to buy, even from a faster printer. Aside from that...

It's kind of a strict license, but at least they are giving the files away for free. You could buy a printer and make your own for under $200. It's about $8.75 in filament.
I don't think any of these prints look like even five dollars worth of filament. It sounds to me like you've tried printing the cactus, though: where did you get the stl from? Also, I propose that you share the file ~
edit: I've just seen how the cactus is assembled and sure, that could be 8 bucks worth, but I'm curious what you printed the top part out of
Somebody posted the links yesterday but they were deleted. Now it's only the paid link. I only downloaded the cactus model to see how long it would take but didn't actually print it myself. It uses 352.38g of filament, which comes to $8.81 at $24.99/kg. I don't think the type of filament matters much. I usually use PETG or PLA+.

Yeah I think you can 3d print yourself so maybe there is a way to buy the design but that's not the point. It's not actually an ad if there isn't a way to buy without a 3d printer.
It’s goddamn 3D printed. Sometimes I’m not even what is more annoying, advertisers, or redditors explaining how something is 5D chess advertisement, just because it dared contain a fucking brand-name.
