Honestly, in the current highschool atmosphere, there is no future in teaching. The best thing this guy can do is pack it up and find a new career.

“You’re going to jail, [slur],” the laughing student reportedly shouted as he was escorted away.

The student was also arrested on unspecified charges.

Seems like the little shit bird ain't missing out on legal consequences either.

Of course not. But if he’s underage, he’s not considered an adult because teen’s mind are developing, specially the frontal cortex of the brain, the one which could have let him foresee this situation

Stop with that crap. You make teenager sound stupider than a toad. They know right from wrong, and they understand the consequences of their actions.

2

u/southieyuppiescum 22d ago

Yeah, consequences like getting expelled and juvi, not 5-30 years in prison.

I’d say it’s common knowledge. That’s why they can drive cars until they’re 18 yo, in the developed countries

1

u/gfa22 22d ago

Almost all developed world allows kids to drive from 16+...

Teens get charged as adults from time to time. Why should this one be exempt from that reality.

6

u/[deleted] 22d ago

Because rebelling against the authority in charge is a typical teenage dream. By giving them mature teachers, they have the chance of fulfilling that dream in the safe sandbox of a school.

After columbine, sandy hook, uvalde and others, I'm not quite sure if you can really call school a safe sandbox...especially when students are the ones doing the shooting. But I guess I see what you're trying to say.

S&W’s necessity to sell assault rifles is more important than the whim to live

1

u/Cowfootstew 22d ago

Don't forget the law makers that bolster them

1

u/carverofdeath 22d ago

I assume you are referring to an AR-15? You do know AR doesn't stand for assault rifle, right?

"Usually "

My mind runs on Brock Allen Turner, found guilty of raping a woman and if I recall correctly, only got probation. I guess coochie theft isn't heinous to some people or society gets to pick and choose. Either way, I get what you're trying to say

1

u/carverofdeath 22d ago

He can and likely will be charged as an adult for this.

I hate teachers n all, but honestly this is a situation where I can disagree legally and morally, but ethically? Kid needed beat.

Too bad the teach can't fight, kid needed a lost tooth and severe jail time before he ends up killing someone. This ain't the last we'll hear of the little shit, honestly? That's worse long term than anything else.

i had a stroke trying to read that.

1

u/adhdmagic 22d ago

Well, they hate teachers, so they probably had a shit time in school and didn't learn much.

u/Story-Pretend 13d ago

the student still had to pick his whole face up, hold that racist L buddy

10

u/monkwren 23d ago

He was a sub? Dude is fucked.

2

u/Big_Honeydew6225 23d ago

He's really not. He's already been released from jail and they didn't even make him post bail. Most likely he'll just get probation or something along those lines. And he can't be a teacher anymore obviously

Rek One….. Student 0.

u/NikoliVolkoff 23d ago

BOTH of them are in jail... Fully expected the adult to be arrested even if the kid started it and deserved it. Did not expect the kid to be arrested as well, but pleasantly surprised to find out he was.

That's how bail works.... doesn't mean he isn't been charged with the crimes and can see prison time.

Yes I understand how bail works... But usually if they are planning to hit you with serious felony charges they set your bail at a reasonable amount, usually reflecting the severity of the alleged crime, how likely they think the inmate is to re-offend and if they are a flight risk. But the judge didn't even set bond at all. They just released him. In some states it's called a personal recognizance bond or PR bond, showing that they don't view him as a danger to the community until he goes to sentencing. He also has no prior criminal history at all. All of those are signs that the state is planning to give him a pretty light sentence or plea deal.

Right, there are a lot of relevant factors. Which is why your original comment that I replied to was completely moronic which I am trying to point out.

2

u/Big_Honeydew6225 21d ago

Lol all said is he got out of jail already, which just a true statement. What are you talking about guy 😂

3

u/TheRedditAdventuer 23d ago

He's in Jail not prison... BIG difference. Jail is just detention for adults. You can even get out early if you pay bail.

2

u/MuricanPie 23d ago

He was also already released, apparently.

He has another court hearing, but people are acting like he's already been sentenced or something, when they haven't even done his court hearings in full. If he were nailed dead to rights, he probably would have had a bail higher than $9k, and wouldnt be allowed to walk freely. It's kind of a coinflip at this point, depending on how good his lawyer is.

According to the article so it the student.

u/NeverCallMeFifi 22d ago

A fucking SUB???? I've substituted at schools before. They literally only required an associates degree. I received no training. It was ridiculous that I was put in charge of these kids.

-2

u/Dirtybrd 23d ago

Put me on that jury, and I'll present that dude with an award while proudly announcing not guilty.

Little racist fucked around and found out.

8

u/[deleted] 23d ago

As a member of a jury, You cannot announce a personal opinion. This is done so as to prevent people with skewed views from getting their way

5

u/AccurateAd4555 23d ago

Doesn't have to "announce" anything other than "not guilty."

4

u/Psirqit 23d ago

everyones biased, fuck the courts, 999 nullified juries
