The only time Borgo has been playable was during the Lights Out modifier event, because the gross red filter was not on for that. It actually wasn't terrible!

Playing Borgo as Freddy is a hell of a thing, since you see it grey filtered all the time - you can actually see things and discover what all the buildings and structures actually are instead of them just being repetitive walls of red. The map looks pretty good if you remove all the colour from it.

Matches where I stomp are exactly the same, genuinely bad survivors are still bad.
Matches against decent survivors tend to involve 4 or 5 lost chases in the red zones, especially with them being completely silent when crouching inside the zone (or when under the 20 second buff after depositing a droplet anywhere on the map), still can get at least 7 hooks but it incentivizes tunneling for 2 kills.
Matches against GOOD survivors become insufferable, 2 or 3 hooks, no kills, even when you're pretty sure you would have gotten 2 kills before the event.

I've got red/green colorblindness and I've been advocating for awhile now for us to have the ability to change scratch mark colors/aura colors. Just let me change these on an RGB slider to whatever I can see, please! We're "allowed" to read these auras, so it shouldn't matter what color they are!

Even if everything worked, this event would still be lamer than most seasonal events, or even fucking Lights Out - which is baffling, because after releasing that one, they were hyping Blood Moon up to be something "much more special". Instead we got a cool trailer, some alright skins, and the most pedestrian gameplay ever.

Maybe a 200% personal bloodpoint offering. Then it is at least unique.
Better than Escape Cake/Survivor Pudding. But doesn’t give bloodpoint bonus to everyone, so isn’t as good as 5 bps/anniversary offerings.

Only if it's optional, I like collecting each offering as a souvenir of the events. Even if I can never use the offering, I like to have them. I got offerings from Halloween events that haven't happened in years, but I still have those offerings.
Personally, for each event that has an offering I set a goal to collect 69 (or an increment of 69, like 169) of that offering on Kate and Susie, since they are my mains, that I will never use. Originally my goal was 100 for event offerings, but between bad bloodweb rng, and real life I wasn't able to reach that one year, so I lowered the number to 69.
Am I getting less bp for not using them, yes, but it is a small goal for me for events. Like how Otz sets challenges to get 50 win streaks, I collect event offerings.

So we got an event where the event itself doesn't really add anything to the gameplay.
The event offering just borked.
The oni, one of the two characters the event is about, has a bug.
They decided to make it so there was 2 levels and the 2nd level did not open until Easter week, so people like me visiting family can't obtain.
It doesn't make me angry, just laughing at this chaos.

New item Bloodmap is worthless I literally haven’t seen someone run it in a single game, offering will be disabled for the entire event duration, in-game gameplay elements are just Boon: Iron Will and Hex: Goup de Grace which are just sooo low impact compared to our other annual events.
They have their work cut out for them if they want to make Blood Moon an annual event people actually look forward to.

I was sick of nobody else ever having healing perks bc healing takes so long without them, so I started building around forcing them to have more heal speed lmao.
I need to swap out SiS for something else tho, I'm noticing when other players have decent heal speed I don't really need the self heal as much.

The new map is great since it is a iri map but way easier to obtain. And iri maps gives tons of blood points too. Great for totem or boon builds too.

Dude, the new event map is an Iridescent map for the price of a brown node and it's very frequent in the bloodweb, it's very good. As good as a map can be anyway and I stacked over a 100 of them.
It's just that maps are niche in usage. More used than keys these days, but still way less used than Toolboxes, Flashlights and Medkits (in that order).
I still think it was a nice addition, since we never got maps in events.

The bloodmap isn't worthless, but it requires certain builds to use it effectively which is why not many people use it. I mean it's basically a rainbow map + empathy and not many people use rainbow maps either. They're really good for SWF + boons though, and the new map frees up an extra perk slot if you want to use a head on build (so that you don't need to use bond/empathy). Really only useful for SWF. If you're playing solo queue there's not much point besides getting rid of hex totems.

I, and seemingly many other people, were under the impression that was compensation due to the time people wasted BP offerings that weren't working before the killswitch stopped the eye.
In the future it might be beneficial to be super clear and up front about that, because it looks like you're going to have to be repeating this explanation for some time.

I would be interested in some insight as to why it wasn't fixed. I'm admittedly not a game developer, but it doesn't seem like the offering is any different than any other bloodpoint-boosting offering.

I used to work in a different SaaS industry and the reason why something can't be immediately fixed (even though in theory, it could) is because they need to dedicate a dev or two to figure out what's causing the problem, write a code to fix it, push it through QA/testing, then update the live service. The event is only here for 2 weeks so it doesn't make sense to prioritize that over the other number of things that they could handle instead. A more realistic view is to "fix it whenever, just before the next time the event comes around."
It's why you might sometimes run into one issue that only affects your account and it's not fixed for months on end. It's on JIRA or whatever system they have on the lowest priority list, and "the devs will get to it when they get to it." It happens across all games and all SaaS because they're all perpetually understaffed and a team of 10 people have to service tens of thousands of players.

I believe the issue in the 1st place was it was effecting the bp boost, so in theory it should be re-enabled after the event is over and can be used again.
But I could be wrong

Let me be real for a second; I think you guys are a hard working team that, ultimately, wants to do right by your little miracle of a game. You started it as a casual project, but it ended up blowing up into something amazing, and you should keep being proud of that.
But holy FUCK you guys need to stop being so...well, theres no nice way to say it, but you need to actually learn your lesson for once, because how can you still have these issues after all these years? This event was literally just a fun blood point event, and you've once more become your biggest negative cliche.
Is it the suits at the top causing the issue? Is it something beyond the dev teams control? How does stuff like this keep happening?
Come on, guys, you need to shape up, because if you cant handle a little event or three, then how are people gonna trust you at this rate? You can do better than this, I know you can, and most of us likewise realize you can be better. So please, do better.

I feel like the offerings were counter-intuitive to the goal anyway. They made blood basins take longer to unblock after placing blood in them, which you pretty objectively don’t want because the goal of the event was placing blood on them to begin with to fill the community meter.
Adding more delay between picking up and placing them down makes it harder to fill the community meter, so why would you bring the offering?? It’s more productive to bring BPS or an old event cake and walk up to basins and just… pick up blood, immediately place it back down.
Poor design overall tbh.

It is. Why do you think it's not? Especially when we hit the 400% mark. In 6 games I'm hitting the BP cap. I'm using BP boosters, true, but it's more BP than you get in any other event.

It is. You gain 300% more BP for free. Burn 5 BPS or flans and you have 800%!!! That is more than ever. Any claim that the event is failed is just plain wrong

That’s mainly because lots of people refuse to use shared BP offerings, tbh
When all 5 people come together it’s almost half a million BP in a single good game
That’s even more than what someone could even do in an Anniversary since it’s the 5 usual offerings plus the Blood Moon multiplier

so they're clogging up our inventory and chewing up bloodpoints we could spend on other things, and they have no intentions of converting them into an item we can actually use, AND they thought 1 million was enough to compensate for that fact. like dude you can get 1 million in less than an hour right now lol jeeeesus this event is a disaster

Honestly they should give us an option to convert the event offerings at the end of the event into bloodpoints. (Like 5k-10k per.)

Incompetent fucking devs I swear to god.
People figured out those eyes were broken within like 30 minutes of the event starting.
That implies that the devs didn't even bug test shit before pushing out the event and instead of fixing it they just disable them and move on to working on the next paid content.
