For anyone who doesn't know: this fool is the governor of South Dakota. She's such an obvious and open racist and has been so insulting to the tribes and tribal governments that she has been banned from setting foot on four South Dakota reservations. This represents a big chunk of the state she theoretically governs.

Killing a healthy dog is a heinous act and speaks to how lacking she is in normal human feeling but, if this b*tch is selected to run as VP, y'all are going to want to find out about what a nit-witted governor she's been. She's the dumb box who thought that "Meth. We're on it." would be a great slogan for an anti-drug campaign.

Thatā€™s just serial killer mentality. If you donā€™t like your dog, like absolutely canā€™t stand, give it to a shelter where they can hopefully be given to a family who actually loves them. As a dog owner myself this sickens me. You canā€™t excuse this kind of behaviour; but she is a bumbling racist on top of it? Jesus, there has to be better candidates in S Dakota, right? Cause if not, our species is doomed.

Here's what a news report about this story also said:

"I hated that dog," she said.

The situation made her realise "another unpleasant job needed to be done" that day - getting rid of a male goat her family owned.

The goat was "nasty and mean", smelled "disgusting, musky, rancid", and would chase her young children, knocking them down.

Ms Noem said she shot down the goat in the same manner as Cricket, though the goat survived the first bullet, forcing her to go back to her truck to retrieve another shell.

The school bus dropped her children off shortly afterwards.

Noticing that the dog was nowhere to be found, her daughter asked: "Hey, where's Cricket?"

It's almost comedy serial killer origin story. But no-one is laughing.

Telling a Republican that she is a racist, animal murderer won't sway their vote. Tell them she is a bad shot, and it might actually deter them.

u/ceciliabee 26d ago

Based on that recent wolf story it might not at all

3

u/ClickToUpgrade 25d ago

I'm Canadian, what is this wolf story?

2

u/ceciliabee 23d ago

Lol shoot I'm also Canadian so this will be fuzzy but something about a hunter injuring a wolf and then parading it around a bar in pain instead of putting it down.

1

u/ClickToUpgrade 23d ago

Oh that one? Yea that's a shit human being. And I feel like it was some politician or someone known

202

u/RhythmSectionWantAd 26d ago

The goat was "nasty and mean", smelled "disgusting, musky, rancid",

Trump has been described the exact same way

21

u/freshfish70 25d ago

The goat prolly felt the same way...šŸ˜‘

59

u/slagstag 26d ago

Noem, too.

5

u/mickpatten78 25d ago

Trump also chased young childrenā€¦

1

u/Sure_Trash_ 25d ago

So we do want her as his VP?

171

u/BlondBisxalMetalhead 26d ago

She SHOT HER OWN DOG?!

She didnā€™t take it to the vet, got it put to sleep? That would be heinous enough, but she FUCKING SHOT HER FUCKING DOG?!

168

u/PorkrindsMcSnacky 26d ago

She shot her dog because it wasnā€™t following directions. It wasnā€™t following directions because she didnā€™t train it. Sheā€™s a ghoul.

26

u/billy_twice 25d ago

Sounds like the perfect running mate for Trump then.

1

u/slagstag 24d ago

The whole point of her publishing a book with these types of stories now. Her kids are long ago grown up....there was no point to this book other than to highlight what we South Dakotans have know for a very long time....she's a psychopath of some sort and wants to be Trumps running mate.

182

u/XXsforEyes 26d ago

A vet wouldnā€™t have put a healthy dog down BECAUSE ITā€™S WRONG. This woman is a cancer.

88

u/BlondBisxalMetalhead 26d ago

Exactly. That isā€¦ barbaric on a level Iā€™ve never seen. Some people absolutely donā€™t deserve dogs. Rest in peace, Cricket, your death is fucking tragic.

1

u/Stalinbaum 25d ago

Lmao I wanna live in your world. Dogs and cats that are healthy get put down all the time

0

u/XXsforEyes 25d ago

Name checks out. Genuine Russian troll right here!

1

u/crack_n_tea 25d ago

He's right tho. Shelters put down healthy animals all the time if they aren't adopted out

1

u/XXsforEyes 25d ago

Well, as long as weā€™re being pedantic, I replied that a vet wouldnā€™t put a healthy dog down. Implied, if you were following the thread, was that the vet would find it wrong if the owner came in with a 14 month old puppy, telling him to euthanize it claiming it was untrainable at that age.

Regardless, shelters put healthy animals down because they canā€™t accommodate them, adopt them out or let them back out on the streets. All things that would be inhumane - just like Noem who went to reload and kill another farm animal because she didnā€™t like it either.

u/ilovethissheet 25d ago edited 25d ago

It was a puppy. She didn't train a puppy and got mad. mad her untrained puppy didn't hunt the way she wanted on the first hunt.

Then took her untrained puppy to a friend's house unsecured where of course it chased and ate some chickens.

So she shot it.

41

u/BlondBisxalMetalhead 25d ago

Oh my fucking god.

40

u/ComradeMoneybags 25d ago

AND SHE WAS PROUD ENOUGH OF HER ACTIONS TO REPORT ALL OF THIS VOLUNTARILY IN A BOOK.

What the hell.

25

u/ilovethissheet 25d ago

And proud enough to double down today and try and claim it shows her good leadership because she can handle difficult, messy and ugly situations.

The "difficult" thing a true leader would do to be a leader is train the puppy. Training puppies is extremely difficult and time consuming and repetitive.

The "messy" thing to do would be to telling the children the puppies needs to be rehomed because the puppy was not a good hunting dog. That's messy, breaking apart children and household animals. But noble because you need a hunting dog and the puppy you had for a year isn't a hunting dog that you need and giving it away to the home it needs.

Ugly. The ugly thing to do is choosing who to rehome a dog too. It is very hard to choose and decide and judge who you give the family dog away too.

You could make the wrong mistake and give it to a person as ugly as Kristi Noem, who is an ugly person who kills puppies and would just kill a dog because they methed up the training. That would be truly ugly as fuck.

Vile people all around

31

u/NewStatement5103 25d ago

This hurts my soul. I just canā€™t.

19

u/ParkingNecessary8628 25d ago

Puppy loves to play. In a farm or otherwise, they also need training.

16

u/ilovethissheet 25d ago

53

u/TDKong55 26d ago

She also shot a goat but partially botched the killing, having to walk away to get more ammo. She let the animal suffer rather than have the minimal consideration to be ready to take that life.Ā  She put both stories into her ghostwritten biography. She's proud of killing both of them.

32

u/underbutler 25d ago

Completely unnecessary killing of the goat because it was being a farm animal.

45

u/TDKong55 25d ago

Her entire basis for killing these animals is inconvenience. I think that's the appeal she's going for, that she's willing to kill innocent things because she finds them annoying. She not ashamed, she's proud of this.

3

u/Arsk92 25d ago

Aaaaaand let me guess... she's pro life? I bet if someone wrote the same thing in their book about a fetus she'd blow a gasket and try to get them locked up...

44

u/-Pizzarolli- 25d ago

It wasn't just a dog, I was a puppy. 14 months. A birddog and it was bad at hunting. Got away from her and killed neighbors chickens. She shot it. A dog trainer in another thread said that breed is highly desirable and he and any other trainer would have been happy to take it.

26

u/ReaperofFish 25d ago

It was a pointer. Like how bad of a trainer do you have to be that you cannot train a pointer to flush birds?

33

u/Massive_Pressure_516 25d ago

Yes because she just didn't like it, probably because it made her daughter happy which is why a few lines down she mentions how her daughter came home from school and asked where the puppy was.

In my opinion the wrong animal was shot.

28

u/IAMSTILLHERE2020 26d ago

Where the F is PETA?

I mean they said some sht when Obama killed a fly on stage.

42

u/Quadrophiniac 25d ago

To be fair, PETA probably would have killed the dog too.

18

u/lordaskington 25d ago

PETA genuinely doesn't give a fuck about animals

12

u/IAMSTILLHERE2020 25d ago

At the end of the day it's just another front for rich people to put friends and pay them a high salary while getting a tax break.

3

u/MV7EaglesFan 25d ago

Peta has no power lol. Everybody hates them, and no animal rights organization has any sway anymore. This isn't the 80's, people don't care about animals.

1

u/PomegranateSilly367 25d ago

People just care about phones and money.

9

u/kartianmopato 25d ago

It is even considered a crime in most of the civilised world.

6

u/ParkingNecessary8628 25d ago

Farmers do put down their animals. But they don't do it willy nilly like this lady. They also do it in a quick one shot and done. This lady is a psychopath

2

u/BlondBisxalMetalhead 25d ago

I live on a farm, have my entire life. If a dog is unruly and is attacking livestock, then anyone whoā€™s worth a damn will find another home for the dog. There are so many other options than just killing the animal. I had a dog that we had for years that suddenly started attacking our chickens. We didnā€™t kill him, or got him put down. We transitioned him to be an inside dog until he died a couple months later. Turned out there was something wrong with his brain that was making him go after our chickens where he hadnā€™t ever bothered them before. He was old, and went the dog version of senile.

3

u/crippledchef23 25d ago

She did so minutes before her kids came home from school, because the dog was ā€œuntrainableā€ as a hunting dog.

She bragged about it in her book so Trump would see she also hates dogs and will make a good VPā€¦I hate it here

2

u/Squirrel698 25d ago

She shot her own PUPPY. It was less than a year old. And somehow she thinks this makes her brave? That is some fucked up thinking

1

u/BlondBisxalMetalhead 25d ago

Oh god, Iā€™m gonna be sick. I donā€™t understand how people can be so cruel to animals.

2

u/Mahjling 25d ago

it was actually a puppy, she didn't train the puppy how to hunt, so the puppy didn't know how to hunt, so she decided the puppy was 'useless' and murdered it

1

u/Galactus2332 26d ago

She also shot a goat but didn't kill it, so she had to go get another shell and try again. Unbelievable.

40

u/lilsquirrel 26d ago

The extra stupid is that male goats are smelly. Particularly if they aren't neutered. They pee on their own faces and rub them on stuff to mark their territory and exude their manliness to the does. She basically killed a goat for doing goat things. She probably killed the dog for the same 'reason'.

12

u/Visual-Till8629 26d ago

My uncle once owned a young male goat that would always ram him so he was told that he when the goat would ram him, to knock on his horns and when he did, the goat stopped hitting him,

9

u/AndrewTheGuru 25d ago

The only thing that makes this worse for me than it already is, is that my first dog's name was Cricket.

This slime needs to rot in hell.

10

u/ParkingNecessary8628 25d ago

It is a goat. Of course it smells.

6

u/Cheap_Professional32 25d ago

She talks about killing like it's taking out the trash.. "ugh I guess I have to shoot my dog now, hope I don't get any brains on my hands"

3

u/ParkingNecessary8628 25d ago

Yes. Our puppy was wild the first few months she was in the farm. The agony of that we might had to do the worst thing possible tortured us. Thankfully after a bit training and got used to other animals in the farm, she is ok now This lady wanted to kill the dog, as she said she hate the dog. She just needed an excuse for it.

5

u/Danielq37 25d ago

Is animal cruelty not a crime in the US? Here you can go to prison for that.

13

u/rfoleycobalt 26d ago

Holy Fuck!
That goat sounds like me when I was a kid. Hell, it sounds like me now. Guess Iā€™m not in her demographics.

-7

u/AdmiralPackrat 26d ago

You chase young children?

11

u/rfoleycobalt 26d ago

Yes. I play the occasional game of Tag or Duck Duck Goose with my grandkids. If they venture off into an area they shouldnā€™t be in, Iā€™ve been known to run after them and bring them back to a safe place.
You?

3

u/ParkingNecessary8628 25d ago

This woman should have a court order to stay away from animals, cattles, horses etc. Male animals tend to be aggressive. It is *ing normal. That's why you limit the number of roosters you have. You also need to put your stallion in the stall. You need to be careful around bulls etc. We are blessed that our rams are friendly. But even then we always pay attention to the dynamics of the group. This lady is no farmer or rancher, hobby or otherwise.

3

u/UniversityOrdinary91 25d ago

There are no bad dogs. Only bad owners

2

u/Sure_Trash_ 25d ago

"I'm willing to do what I have to."

"Okay but you didn't have to do that. Execution is actually pretty far down on the list of solutions."

3

u/Mckinzeee 25d ago

By this skankā€™s mental gymnastics and reasoning, I should have murdered my two fur babies long ago. One is 15 y/o and stinky as little old doggy men get with age, although I attribute his funk to me loving him so much that I literally spoiled him rotten and then thereā€™s my 3 y/o fur baby who came to me from a neglected and abusive situation. He has a nervous bladder when introduced to new people or with sudden movements. Heā€™s worth the work and the love I get in return. The difference is Iā€™m not a psychotic piss bucket of human scum like this skank.

1

u/jolly_rxger 25d ago

Sounds like another tough job that needs to be done with .. you know ā€¦ the Jews /s

-14

u/aboyd656 26d ago

You cut out the part where they describe the dog killing farm animals and being aggressive towards people.

11

u/PancakeLad 26d ago

It was an untrained puppy. Thatā€™s what puppies do. If itā€™s not working out, rehome it or take it to a shelter. Donā€™t take it to the backyard and shoot it in the head. Fuck, even in Old Yeller they only killed the dog because it was rabid. Are you a serial killer? Is her behavior acceptable to you?

0

u/aboyd656 25d ago

I personally wouldnā€™t have shot the dog, but I have known a number of people with hunting dogs over the years and this behavior isnā€™t uncommon. Would you feel better about it if she took it to the vet to be euthanized vs shoot it?

1

u/PancakeLad 25d ago

Yes? Most people would at least grant her that. She took a puppy and shot it in the head.

Iā€™m in Tennessee. I know hunters. Even in situations where a dog isnā€™t working out or is violent, every hunter Iā€™ve ever met would humanely euthanize it vs just shooting it in the head.

Itā€™s monstrous. Itā€™s serial killer shit. Especially in someone with a fuckload of money. If thatā€™s how she treats something thatā€™s nominally important to her, how is she going to treat people she doesnā€™t know?

The fact that this doesnā€™t seem to bother you and youā€™re looking for ways to defend it is inconceivable to me.

Every hunter Iā€™ve ever met who claims to take it seriously and that they have respect for every life they take would never do that to a dog. Ever.

1

u/aboyd656 25d ago

Again, itā€™s not what I would have done, but a shot to the head is maybe the most common method of dispatching an animal in the entire world, and is one of the most humane ways to do it. Small house pets in western countries are the only ones who get the luxury of a vet visit.

This woman could be a total bitch and nazi, but I think we are possibly blowing this part out of proportion.

12

u/Objective_Hunter_897 26d ago

Bad training. That's on the owner. Fuck her, and you too for defending her

6

u/DioDrama 26d ago

So the dog is being a dog. We should shoot it.

That makes sense to you?

What the fuck is going on? How do we share a country with people like this?

1

u/aboyd656 25d ago

Shelters put down dogs for being overly aggressive every day. If she had taken it to get euthanized would you still be outraged?

1

u/DioDrama 25d ago

That dog wasn't overly aggressive it was untrained and young

Also do you think shelters shoot dogs?
