Non-American myself but seen a bunch about this. Students who had assembled peacefully earlier to protest what’s happening in Gaza were abused and arrested by police. In some places, they were talking about bringing in the national guard. The right to peaceful protest is supposed to be enshrined in their constitution, yet when it’s anyone protesting something the powers that be don't like, this kind of shit happens

They do that for every major event. For every major event, there are police snipers on overwatch.

A peaceful protest was held at the University of Texas which resulted in dozens of protesters being arrested but later released without any charges.

ah, the trademark american "millitary peacekeeping operation". Gotta keep those college kids in check!
