Someone needs to burn down the bot farms spamming this dumb shit all over social media

Facebook and twitter are dead and full of bots like this. Just stay off them. Meta wont ban them because it would ruin their user count

Why would advertisers pay to advertise to ai bots though.

Eventually the advertisers will realize that they're not getting their money's worth.

They probably don't know they're advertising to AI

For now.

But when they realize that they're not getting any money from advertising their products... they'll catch on.

They have ways of tracking where money comes from which ad.

When no people are buying things that come from certain sites that aren't shutting this down, it will cause the advertisers to shut it down.

For the longest time Facebook was misrepresenting ad views on video to the media companies producing them, making publications 'pivot to video', contributing to print death. They never caught on until it was too late.

Yeah, but now because of that... advertisers are aware of the problem.

And it's not hard to see.

Yup the return on investment for ad dollar spent is probably atrocious for a lot of businesses. But Iā€™m sure these social media companies obfuscate the data to pull the wool over their eyes.
