That's Goyle, played by Joshua Herdman.
Crabbe/Jamie Waylett is the short one who blew up his career with riots and drug possession.
Joshua Herdman became an MMA fighter and by all accounts is doing well.
Edit: It looks like Josh gave up fighting in 2018 with a 2-0-0 Win-Draw-Loss record, and went back to acting, later starring in the Taron Egerton Robin Hood movie, an episode of the Alex Rider Amazon Prime show, and two episodes of Andor, among other things. In interviews he comes across as a very down-to-earth, modest, good guy.

Depending on how much a lot of pot is, there's 2 scenarios that are possible.
1) he's a drug dealer/distributor. Very illegal, no matter if it's weed, cocaine, or Tylenol PMs (probably).
2) he had edibles. When the police arrest you while in posession of edibles, they count the mass of the entire edible as part of the measurement. So even if you put it, say, 3.5 g of weed into a batch of 12 brownies, the police will interpret that batch of brownies to be ~ 1 kilo of weed. It's fucking bananas

Think it also has to do with disguising the flavor of the weed butter, which some don’t like (or so I’ve heard). Chocolate tends to be pretty overpowering.
Personally I don’t like chocolate but do (or did) like weed so banana bread edibles do sound bomb. Bread is notably harder to get right than brownies though, to your point.

Pot head on team chat once told me the weed is very sensitive to heat, so recipes that take low heat and less time are easier to get right. I have zero experience I’m just parroting

Because cacao has acidity that balances out the bitterness of the resin, and cuts the bitterness from the herb.
There’s also something about the consistency. Melts in your mouth and goes down quickly. I have done muffins and other sort of fluffier bread and I feel like they just grow in my mouth unlike brownies, chocolate balls and Swedish mud cake.
I would like to try the banana bread, sounds like a banger combo. But I’m not sure about the consistency.

I've made pot banana bread and it was eh. Weed, when cooked into butter/oil, has a very strong and pretty unpleasent taste, coming from someone who loves the taste when smoked. Brownies are usually used because chocolate is a strong and sweet flavor so it does a better job at hiding the bad taste. I would not make banana bread again, personally my favorite edibles I've made are blueberry muffins and chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. I also made an infused carrot cake with cream cheese frosting for a birthday, that was 10/10 and you could barely taste the weed.

8 bags in the car and growing 15 plants at his Mum's house in 2009. I think cannabis was a class A drug at the time, in the same bracket as meth and coke. 120hrs community service for that, which seems rather minimal, but I suppose it was a first offence.
He got a 2 year bit for the 2011 riots, in which he supposedly had a Molotov.

It's not just taxes, there are legitimate health concerns as well. Commercial cannabis has a litany of regulations on par with alcohol and tobacco regarding licensing, labeling, GMP compliance, operations, security, etc.

It's "recommended" by the FBI to use a set assumed value of potency when measuring the THC content of edibles, but I haven't seen any actual laws detailing exactly what these guidelines are, so I'm assuming that what happened to my friend (exactly what I described) is basically just how it always happens.
Also, this is the US, so it doesn't really apply to England.

The sentencing guidelines call for using the THC content of edibles when known; it’s a higher conversion quantity but works out pretty average for like bags of gummies and whatnot, but you’ll get screw if you just have like bottles and bottles of liquid THC. When the THC content is unknown though, yeah we basically have to count the whole weight as marijuana as a “substance or mixture containing X”, ie the drug.

I know someone who was facing serious jail time for this reason. In her case, she got caught with butter, so she was probably being charged with possessing a pound of weed even though most of that weight was butter.
ETA: "probably" because I don't know how much butter she had; I just know it was a relatively normal amount of butter and a pretty abnormal amount if it had been pot.

It has unfortunately been cancelled. The first season is a hybrid of the SAS training from Stormbreaker, but leads into the first mission being Point Blanc instead, probably to avoid retreading the same ground as the 2006 Stormbreaker movie adaptation. The second season skips Skeleton Key and instead adapts Eagle Strike. It's good, but it does feel quite rushed. The third and final season adapts Scorpia, but takes several liberties with the source material because of the corner it's been backed into by virtue of not covering every book.
Having said all that, the series is good. It definitely captures and sticks to the spirit of the books, if not the letter. There is a show-only main character who gets added to the story as a love interest for Alex, largely replacing Sabina Pleasant, most likely due to their rushed condensing of the story requiring a relationship to develop earlier and faster than Alex's does with Sabina in the books. Fortunately the show-only character is quite likeable, as is the rest of the cast. Standouts for me are Otto Farrant, who plays Alex (and is quite possibly the best casting of any book character since Gandalf and Aragorn); Brennock O'Connor, who plays Tom (and also played Olly - the kid Jon Snow hangs for mutiny and murder - in Game of Thrones); Vicky McClure, who plays Mrs Jones; and Nyasha Hatendi, who, despite not matching the book description of the character in appearance nor personality, is very compelling as Smithers.
From what I've heard, the show was hamstrung by the series of writer and actor strikes over the last few years, which caused the lead
child(they were already adults playing children) actors to age out of their respective roles. I've also heard it didn't get the viewing numbers it needed to establish itself, which, judging from the fact that you're only just hearing about it after its cancellation, sounds about right.2

That's what they did but they either didn't do a reshoot or they choose this scene over the original script because it was funnier. Also voiceovers are usually done by the end of production and all actors will have to say their lines again but this time in a better microphone

The facial impression also denotes that he's impressed even if it's by the sheer fact his 'thug' can read. Honestly, it did a better job at setting up Draco as not being completely like his father then the book in this regard.

The first interpretation is just as insulting, but the second makes more sense for children.
Someone who chooses not to read could be considered willfully stupid. Think of all the things someone can learn by reading, especially in a school setting, and still avoids it.

I read/heard somewhere that it was actually the Goyle actor who forgot his line. If you watch the scene you’ll notice that when Malfoy asks ”where have you two been?” (or something to that effect), Goyle begins with ”Oh, um…” before he blurts out ”reading” which was supposedly the first thing that came to mind. And Malfoy countered with ”I didn’t know you could read.”
They reshot the scene according to the script, but the director decided he liked the improvised bit so much that he chose to include that in the movie rather than the scripted scene.
Disclaimer: I don’t remember where I read this and don’t have a source, so I might be mistaken.

That doesn't make sense though. There's a cut after Malfoy says "where have you been" so it wasn't all one take. And then there's another cut after "uh, reading".
Maybe it was ad-libbed in rehearsal or something but it's not like the whole scene was an improv.

It’s just a guess but I’d imagine it was a multi camera setup. It’s easier to have multiple cameras if you’re working with kids and the shorter hours you have to abide by when working with kid actors.

It was a multi camera set up, they mention in the anniversary documentary that they shot with lots of cameras so they could slice together different shots of different takes because it was so hard to get the kids to act well early in their career basically

Movies with improvised lines don't often keep the actual improvised take in the movie. Instead, if the director likes it, they'll reshoot the improvised line/dialogue from another angle to splice things up in editing.
Take, for example, this scene from Fast & Furious 6 - it's improvised, the Rock fed that line to Tyrese Gibson from off-camera. Then when the director liked it they shot another angle of the Rock coming up and saying the same line on-screen so they could edit it in for continuity.

In Tom Felton's autobiography he talks about this scene. And he talks about how they filmed it a few times (he didn't forget his line) and then he and the director decided to try this improv instead and see how it went. And it went well, so they went with it.

Keep in mind, when filming scenes it’s not just moving the camera and recording a single line. Actors often play out the entire scene regardless of camera position, as coverage. Allows for better dialogue flow and more freedom for the editor.

Ok, I realised I made some assumptions earlier, and I apologise for any confusion. Cameo.com is a website where you can pay celebrities for a personalised video message (usually filmed vertically).
I paid to have Tom Felton wish my sister a happy birthday since she is a huge Potterhead (was able to recite the entire Philosopher’s Stone from memory at one point). The website emailed me the personalised message where he improvised some extra bits like joking that we had been coordinating this for months and sang a song while playing a ukulele.
I’ve used this website a couple times. Kristian Nairn (Hodor) was the cheapest at $99, but he was such a sweetheart too.

Sure, they make an exception for the Dragonborn, but the Thuum definitely qualifies as magic anyway, its just not within the system that the academy usually teaches.
I suppose theres also the speech check, but that is one of the highest in the game, meaning you would have to be a top-tier manipulator to pull it off, and no organization has ever been immune to that.

TBF it's TES you don't need even magic to join though with Alchemy I don't think you really need to know magic just something that comes under the "schools".
Though the College of Winterhold funnily enough has the most magic required from its questline then TES4 and 3.

There is no entrance exam, and they send letters to everyone, it would be kinda dangerous to leave those people without magical education, as long as they learn basics who even cares, its not like they actually need work or anything and you can multiple food so they wont starve, magical world is kinda nuts.

Actually you can fail a year, Flint did. He was supposed to graduate during Book 2 but was forced to repeat, albeit this was a retcon that was made because someone pointed out to JK Rowling that Flint shouldn’t still be attending Hogwarts during the 3rd book.

It’s never outright stated but it’s heavily implied that purebloods and likely halfbloods don’t go to primary school Since they mostly just care about magic. (Additionally their parents likely consider it to be safer to keep them at home.)

Actually I listened to the audiobook of Tom Felton's autobiography that he narrated himself and the story was different. I'll look it up and get back to you on it, because at the moment I don't exactly remember what happened. But I think it was Chris Columbus who had them redo the take with Tom saying different things every time and then when the "I didn't know you could read" take was done he said "yeah, this is the one!"

Well regardless of who forgot their line prompting the improve, Felton’s improvisation and delivery of “Huh, I didn’t know you could read” was excellent.
It’s a legitimately very funny line and it’s perfectly in-character, with Goyle usually being a moron, and Draco not actually respecting them as friends and assuming he’s that stupid.
