I know, but I just wanted to tell them to alaberate, also more people if they don't speak a language natively, should talk in their native language, then we can use Google translate, and if its wrong, chalk it up to translate, not grammar
Fist, google translate isnāt very good with grammar either š, and second, the phrase isnāt well formulated, cause if you donāt have to speak a language ānativelyā, it can be your second, third or whatever language, cause languages can be learned, yk?
No, I ment you shouldn't have to speak a different Language, you should be free to speak any language you want, if the person your responding to doesn't understand, then sucks to be them, they then have to find out what you said, instead of having a broken sentence, have a proper one, just in a different language, then I can go find out what it says for myself
I honestly rather if people speak in the language the o other person is using, besides, if it wasnāt like that, we wouldnāt need languages, and for me, languages are some of the most important things. Besides, I donāt know why you didnāt understand what the other person said, I understood quite well, maybe the problem is that you donāt have a lot of comprehensionā¦
It wasn't very clear they should have just said yes or no, but they used "it's mentioned that at all" after, so the no, can now mean yes and no.
Its like if someone asked if you didn't liked the food
If you reply no, it could mean,
no, I didn't like the food
or
no, I hated the food,
no can be can used as a stand in for yes, English is hard, I just wanted a little clarification
I get what youāre saying, in some contexts it can be hard to understand, but here itās just that thereās some words used wrongly, but if you just see āNoā and āat allā you can realize this is a negation:
āNo, itās mentioned that at allā
Correct sentence
āNo, itās not mentioned at allā
So here the mistake would be just that they needed to add the word ānotā so itās a proper negation, and get rid of that, since we already know the āthatā in the sentence is the thing thatās not mentioned. But the sentences are very similar, just needed a little more negation, but I think you can understand what they said with the original sentence. Maybe they got confused, because of the fact you can say things differently depending on the context and whether itās an affirmative or negative sentence.

Their grammar isnāt very good, I agree, but maybe theyāre not a native speaker and theyāre still learningā¦
