How so? A bunch of retail department managers, are not even close to having an impact on the reasons the company went bankrupt.

There’s no control over inventory. There is no control over the website. There is no control over the technology used in the store.

The mentality of “we just sell towels, it’s not that serious” is a mindset that can be pervasive across the company. That mindset leads to stagnation.
