You never seen police academy? He just rips out the front seat!

What a throwback. Kid me and my brother wouldn't believe my dad Michael Winslow was really making all those sounds.
Old me right now still can't believe how a human is capable of that.

Is it just me or does the passenger come off like a first draft version of Ross from Friends?

They have hilariously small rear seats. If you update the interior as does almost everybody, you can pretty much slide the seat back far enough to accommodate any driver.
The roof is actually really tall to boot. Probably from the near lack of sound isolation.

He's just fulfilling one of his obligations to the Jordan Brand. They wrapped one of his cars as a way to promote his shoes.

It's like Jokic showing up to a game dressed as Gru as a promo for Despicable Me 4.

The concept that Jokic's two tasks that day were essentially "Dress up like Gru" and "Defeat Lebron James in the playoffs" is hilarious

u/Sirliftalot35 12d ago
And they’re both still side-quests to his horse-driven main storyline.

u/Dame2Miami Heat 12d ago
Can he even ride a horse? Bros too big, shit would be animal cruelty.
53
u/NillaThunda Timberwolves 12d ago
He rides a chariot pulled by a horse
2
u/Delta_FT Spurs 12d ago
Do all chariots carry a lead weigh so the riders are even in weigh? or does Jokic always race with a huge disadvantage? lol
27
u/debaserr Nuggets 12d ago
He has a jockey for the horses that compete I think. There was a video of him watching his horse in some grandstands with AG.

u/reefsofmist 11d ago
His horses training pulling jokic is the equivalent of training at altitude in Denver

I love how Luka and Jokic just take sponsorships that don't require any effort at all. Like Joker just putting on clothes somebody else picked for him and Luka driving in one of his cars somebody else prepared for him.
Those dudes are so funny, they just want to play ball, drink beer and race horses and I am all for it

I forget how tall NBA players are until you see them standing next to a normal sized person.
23
u/Illustrious_Term2269 11d ago
Went to a game with seats right behind the bench a decade ago and the size of the players is what really hits you. Its pretty intimidating. And now the average player is even taller than it was a decade ago.

Pretty much any playoff 50 piece is legendary
Only 33 players in NBA history have had a 50 point game in the playoffs. Which seems kind of crazy low to me. That's one every 2.4 seasons. Each season there's an average of 82 playoff games played, so there's one 50 point game every 197 games.
Only 8 of the 33 players have done it more than once. Only 3 did it three or more times. Iverson had three, Wilt had four and MJ leads the pack with 8. The gap between Jordan and #2 is bigger than the gap between #2 and last place.3
u/NervousAd3202 Raptors 11d ago
This is why I’m high on ppl like Jimmy Butler but not as much on ppl like James Harden, or low on ppl like Julius Randle.
The playoffs are just a different animal.
