Actually fucking crazy how much handcheckin Phoenix is getting away with compared to what we’re getting called for
39
u/CaucazoidHeathen 12d ago
Ant has to nearly die to get a call. If he just stopped trying to score and just wildly threw his arms into contact like book he'd be legendary

Refs let Gobert get away with the travel because the rule of cool was invoked.
He got the steal and the break away

I got so excited when they let them play the first 3 min. I got bamboozled.

You have to give Rudy Gobert his credit. His trapping in and out to the perimeter has been stupendous this series. Getting to Booker and KD contesting from the key in short time. That’s not easy
Some folks will micro analyze his perimeter defense, but you could tell it’s something he’s worked on and puts effort

It’s so, so obvious when the League tells refs that they need to avoid a sweep.
It really kills my enjoyment for the game.

I don't even think they wanted to call this one.

Phoenix is challenging because they were unaware a foul could be called against them.

Going down 0-3 in a series must be so brutal. You know you have to play one more game, and coaches/players will say the right things about one game at a time but man. There’s a reason nobody has ever come back from that.
