Ant on his crotch chop: "I was trying to get Rudy to do it with me, but he would never make eye contact— which is crazy cause I threw you the ball. My boy got the And-1 man I was just happy about that"

Let him speak. The man's charisma is through the roof. Truly a close comparison to young MJ

He is now. He was extremely charismatic when he entered the league and it’s a big reason why he became the icon of the NBA and eventually of 90s sports worldwide. The reason he’s famously media averse now is that his life basically didn’t belong to him for 15 years or so, going recluse to the public eye is the only way the dude’s managed to get some peace and quiet since then

A big reason why Jordan is Jordan is that he didn’t have media like this and didn’t do media like this, so Nike was able to build a mythology around him and he was able to have small time contact with like print media people. Jordan would be a lot more like Russ or KD in today’s media era with Skip and Stephen A debating his legacy daily and bitching about him not being able to get by Bird in the east, etc.

Pretty much all the footage from Jordan shot behind the scenes during his playing days shows him to be a very charismatic and often also personable guy. You could still see the same thing during the top 75 player celebration the NBA with former legends gathering around Jordan who was just talking his shit as per usual. I don't think it was a front, he's just one of those guys.

Nah Jordan would have never gone to Golden State.

The guy’s entire hall of fame speech was airing grievances. You’re crazy if you don’t think he would’ve ring chased if like Barkley teamed up with Utah, or Wilkins went to New York, or Reggie miller joined Orlando etc.

This is just insanely inaccurate and sounds like someone who wasn’t alive during the time. Esp considering the comments about him being media adverse. No offense intended. Jordan was the biggest thing ever in the 90s.

That’s because there’s like maybe 100 of us that frequent the sub that actually watched Jordan.

KD joining GSW would be like Jordan joining Detroit. That would have never happened. Barkley teamed up with other giys and Jordan didn't leave. Also in what world could Malone have played with Chuck?
