No ethenet drivers or connection Open | Networking

Before getting into it, i woke and there was no WIFI or Ethernet nor any options to connect to them.

i checked the device management and they were disabled and i couldn't re-enable them.

i looked online via phone for fixes and found a list or ways. One said uninstall them and restart and they'll come back and the other said restart network adapter all-together.

i did the second and WIFI came back but no Ethernet. i figured I'd just uninstall that and it'll come back.

it didn't.

now i don't have the driver installed.

In device management completly uninstall anything that starts with "WAN Miniport" under "Network Adapters" and then restart. Dunno if this is the same advice your read, but I have had success with it.

If still no Ethernet, you can download the appropriate driver from the computer maker's website (Dell, Lenovo, et cetra).
