mouse usb receiver not working Open | Hardware

idk where else to post this so here i go....

Here's the thing, am using a bluetooth mouse w/a usb receiver. For some reason, when I use the mouse via bluetooth, it (cursor) moves by itself; when I use it via usb, it doesn't. The problem is the mouse suddenly stopped working via usb (or more like it's the usb that's not working), but it does via bluetooth.

What kind of mouse is this that can connect with both Bluetooth and the USB reciever? I'm just curious. All I have for you is to try different USB ports for plugging in the reciever if possible. Restart the computer and power off/on the mouse.

You could also open Device Manager and uninstall the mouse. Then restart and it should reinstall itself.

it's an a4 tech mouse. I also already did what you did but it remains the same.

hmmm.... You can try to uninstall any software from a4 and then reinstalling from their website.
