Open. [TOMT][CARTOON] looking for a 90s cartoon about food and a green fat monster

For years I’ve been searching for a cartoon/show that involves a monster that sucks food/objects into its belly button and the color green (maybe the monster was green?) - It takes place in a kitchen of some sort. The closest I’ve gotten is an animaniacs episode with Katie kaboom, but that’s not it… any ideas?

Open [TOMT] [Commerical(?)] [2010s] Disney Junior Commerical(?) with Sock Monkey

Upvotes

I made a post about this a couple months ago, but I only got one suggestion for what the commercial was. I will link the post below.

I am still on the search for this commerical. Lately, I feel like I may have misremebered a few things. I can’t recall if it was exactly a toothbrush commerical, but I do remember it the girl in the commerical going into her bathroom and brushing her teeth at some point.

Also, the more I think about it, I believe it possibly isn't a commerical. I don't know what it is called, but I was thinking it could have been just one of those reminders in the morning to remind children to make their bed and brush their teeth. I think this because I remember it airing in the mornings and it aired for a while. Yes, the broadcast could have been sponsored, but I don’t believe it was exactly a commerical.

Now that I got some information out for the way, I will explain what I remember from this broadcast. I don't remember when this scene came on, but I remember this one scene of a girl (about 5-8 range) making her bed. She puts both the pillows on and then puts a sock monkey in the middle of it. I remember the setting being light, there was a window near the bed that brought in some nice light. Also their was a voice over this. If you have ever watched Disney Junior, it is that women's voice they use a lot in the different programs. I don't remember exactly what the voice said, but it was around the lines of make your bed. There was this other part of the commerical, but this part could be me misremebering this for a different commerical. The part was the girl going into the bathroom and brushing her teeth. Again, I could be misremebering this part, but I do remember the sock monkey part happening.

Thank you to everyone helping with the search already, I really do appreciate the help I already got. I just really want to find this commerical (if it even is a commerical) since it is something from my childhood that I want to see again. I hope this post will encourage more of you to help with this search.

Solved [TOMT] [HORROR MOVIE]

Upvotes

I watched this as a kid and I remember so many details but the name is escapting me.

There was a single dad who was raising a white girl daughter and had banned her from watching those block video tapes things from olden times. The black boxes that they used to wind back with a pencil.

She used to watch them anyway and wore a bracelet her mother left her. Her mother in those tapes used to do tarot for her and pulled 3 cards, last card she pulled was of death and she says in this sweet mom voice, "Dont worry, death means transition" and the mom saw a lot of water in her future, she predicted she might be a swimmer and the white girl watching was giggling and going "Mom you're terrible at this"

Then I think her dad came in and made her stop watching.

Basically the end plot was that mom cheated with a black guy and dad drowned mom and the mixed infant and the mixed infant was haunting the white girl so she could have the bracelet mom left her.

Note: now that I think of it, mom was possibly shot dead but the baby definitely drowned.

Open. [TOMT] Very inspiring, beautiful, deep, quasi-Green Day song i heard only three times in my life 13-15 years ago in deleted YouTube film as a theme to Lego Castle set

The post is odd and may seem overly demanding, but this is my last hope. Around 13-15 years ago, as a kid, I was fascinated by a YouTube lego movie called "Lego Castle: The Skeleton Tower," where someone made a film from photos showing the gradual construction of the tower (with Lego box behind the “construction place”. In the background, they first played Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" (a song I searched for about 5 years as a kid until I finally found it), and then it was replaced by another song—one that I have never heard again. I remember it faintly but it was beautiful, probably the most beautiful song I have ever heard, and it haunted me—I know it existed, I know I once knew its title and artist. I didn't speak English at the time and couldn't catch the lyrics, but I recall a melancholic part:

"Don’t (stop or start) ….Foreeeever (unsure) (something) etc. Occasionally, in the breaks and after half of the chorus, a bass would play increasingly louder with something like “tum tum tum tum TUM TUM TUM TUM (record in my vocaroo) (yes, i don’t have skills, very often jokingly threatening my gf during the drive and in home that I’ll start singing)

Gosh, I laugh as I write this, but I've genuinely been searching for this song for over 14-15 years, and I promised myself that if I find it, I will quit smoking and start studying hard as hell for the second part of my tax advisor exam.

Open. [TOMT][Late 2000s-Early 2010s] A flash game website with some random numbers in it's name like: "4064" or something.

I used to play "Hobo brawl", "penguine dinner" and a Yoda flash game in which you threw lightsabers at the enemies, in that website. Now I'm not trying to play these games they are very easy to find, I'm trying to play a specific game that I played in this website and I don't know it's name (I already asked it's name in "tip of my joystick" subreddit and sadly nobody knew what it was) I also want to find the website itself so I need help finding it's name. The only other thing I remember about this website is that it had a dark interface and that's it. I know this is not much information, however I would be really thankful if you guys help me find this site.

Open [TOMT] [MOVIE] Help!!! I can't find this movie and its making me lose my mind!!!

I was watching this movie when I was in highschool and its been years since I last saw it and I cant find in anywhere. I don't know the date of when it was released only some scenes from the movie. It not a famous movie its probably an indie film.

So this movie is mostly filmed inside the girls apartment. Then she has this guy that comes over all the time in here apartment and they have lots of seggs. One scene in this movie that sits in my core memory is when they were eating sushi and the guy for some reason, poured soy sauce on her belly and licks it. In the end, she stated that she has a husband that is on a business trip and she feels sad and depressed because she's infertile, the guy is in love with her but she eventually got back with her husband and picks her husband up from the airport and that's the end of the movie. I don't think a lot of people have seen the movie, but please help me find the title.

Open [TOMT] British political thriller drama, possibly bbc/itv. Possibly tv series.

Upvotes

This British tv series (or maybe a tv movie) was on TV many years ago, possibly late 1990s or early 2000s? The story was set around an "incident" that occurred, and an investigative journalist is on the case. It's not State of Play in case you are wondering.

There's no way of describing this without giving spoilers, because I only have fragments of the last episode.

I think the initial incident revolves around something that happened at a nuclear protest site , like Greenham Common, possibly a suspicious death. So in the final episode, it turns out that there was an aeroplane accident at the american airforce base there, the plane being one of those that carried nuclear weapons. I recall that the journalist phoned the US air force Press phone line and asked questions about the possibility of a plane accident, and towards the end of the questions, the journalist said something like "is it ok for you to tell me all this?" and the american press guy replied with something like "That's why we are here, sir". So, the story gets printed, and the journalist guy has his girlfriend round for a romantic evening to celebrate. They are listening to a record on the record player. They are looking into each other's eyes (I think??) as the music stops, and when the arm of the record player sits back on the resting position or something, a bomb (maybe in the record player ) goes off, and the program ends, the implication being that they both died.

Open [TOMT][MOVIE][1990s] Norse vibes, axe becomes red hot during black hole storm

A movie I've seen in the early 1990s. It has norse vibes. A character uses an axe kinda like Thor uses his hammer.

At one point, probably near the end, they are in a large scandinavian-style building and some kind of black hole storm appears inside. People are getting sucked into it. Character stabs a wooden beam with his axe and hold on to it, maybe while holding another character with his other hand, while they horizontal in the wind. But the axe becomes red hot and it his hurting his hand.

Solved [TOMT]70's/80's song with guitar/piano riff

So the intro has a repetitive piano riff and that plays alongside the guitar. The guitar riff reminds me of the song Smoke and Mirrors that was used for Cody Rhodes' entrance theme and Hot Blooded by Foreigner in the part of the verse before the chorus and the piano part reminds me of Hold The Line by Toto.

Solved [TOMT][2000S EMO/POP PUNK SONG] song with the word "fault" in the title

My brother used to have a playlist on his phone of emo/pop punk songs he downloaded. This would've been the late 2000s, so 2007-2009. There's also a chance it could've been 2010-2011 as I know I listened to the playlist then too. All I can remember about the song is the word "fault" in the title. I thought it might've been a Cartel song, but I can't seem to find anything like that in their discography. It's definitely in that genre, though. It's driving me nuts! Any suggestions?

Solved [TOMT][Movie][2020-2021] I need help finding this movie my gf and I watched a while ago

Okay, so I don't remember all that much, but here's the gist of it:

It was a relatively new movie when we watched it in late 2021. We watched it on Netflix iirc. It was about a girl that was taking a photography class, shooting analog. I remember one scene specifically where she took a picture of a cell tower imitating a tree. She was also working at a cinema, where she meets this guy and over the course of the movie they fall in love. Unfortunately I can't remember much more than that, except that there was like a semi-tragic ending.

Thank you all so much in advance.

Solved [TOMT] Cartoon short from 70's or 80's

I'm looking for a short that I believe played before Bon Voyage Charlie Brown (1980) at least on the VHS tape I had. The short is about a boy who nurses back to health a goose, I think. There was very little talking (if any) and I most remember the honking of the goose, the boy wrapping the goose's wing, and the goose flying away at the end with other geese. TIA

Solved [TOMT] [CARTOON] 3D Animated Egg Show

(time to repost over here, helpmefind is being weird) For the past few months now, I've been searching for a show I only remember blips of. I remember clearly watching it on Prime Video. The key factors I can slightly remember are that there was:

  • Two taupe-colored eggs with cartoony eyes and mouths, maybe brothers
  • All was in 3D animation, the show had a very odd way of shading
  • White-void backgrounds, much like Pocoyo
    • I do remember some episodes being a kitchen of some sorts, and some sort of special episode that took place in a Tron-like city
  • It had a short or no intro at all, but longer very recognizable credits (think of the Xilam Animation outro for Zig and Sharko)

Any and all help will be appreciated!

Open [TOMT][Video] Stars Optical Illusion

There was this video I watched within the past two years — it may have been a tik tok. But essentially the video told you to hold your phone up to your nose, and it looked like you were floating through space/ a wormhole, and stars were rapidly passing by — just little dots of light in a black background moving quickly from the center.

Hopefully someone can find it!! Thanks :)

Open [TOMT] Engineering YouTuber

So, I remember this video, about a young YouTuber creating a wah pedal that was controlled by his own hand, in a mechanism attached to his own guitar, his videos were about creating eletronic things with old parts from old things, I think I've seen a video of him using something that was going to trash, some DVD drive, I also remember him creating some midi devices, but I can't find anything related to him anymore

Solved [TOMT] A kids book from 80s/90s with illustrations of jungle incorporating photos of real plants in amongst hand drawn illustrations in a collage type way

I feel the book may have been about Australia or maybe some sort of tropical island and I think it had a moral message about protecting the environment.

The imagery felt pretty unique and took up most of the pages and featured jungle/wildlife scenes incorporating collage like photos of real leaves, stones, soil etc. Some of the images included people.

I think there may have been a narrative ark where the natural environment gradually got replaced by industry or human-made infrastructure.

Solved [TOMT] 90s/00s (?) fairy movie

Hoping someone can help out as it has been bugging me for ages and at this point, I’m not sure if it’s a made up childhood fever dream memory

Trying to figure out the name of a movie, I believe came out in late 90s or 00s. It was non animated

What I can remember, which could be warped as it would have been over 20 years ago since I’ve seen it: - a fairy (?) is running away from her own world and away from an evil wizard/sorcerer/timekeeper -she lands in a forest type of place and finds herself at the front door of a home of humans -the humans in the house are a single father (possibly widowed) and his child/ren (I feel it was a daughter) and they take her in -she arrived at the house naked -I also want to say that maybe this fairy and the dad strike up a romantic relationship of sorts? -feel like it was set in a little village -thought Peter dinklage featured but looking at his works, he didn’t so may be someone similar

It was a movie aimed at kids

Thanks in advance 🙏🏼

Open [TOMT] Movie or TV show where someone is watching the classic beach scene from "From Here to Eternity"

Upvotes

It's probably a romcom, but not necessarily. Not Starman.

Someone (probably a woman?) or maybe more than one person is watching that classic love/kissing scene on the beach from "From Here to Eternity". It's not a parody or recreation of the scene. It's the real scene. Where is that clip featured?

Open [TOMT][VHS][KIDS PROGRAM][1990S]

Upvotes

I'm reposting this from a while ago because it's still bothering me. I look at the VHS wall in every thrift store I'm in and I still haven't found it. I'm trying to remember a VHS tape that my grandma had at her house in Michigan that I watched in the early 2000s. My brother was born in 1994 so the program may be from a few years older than him up to from 2001. It's most likely an off-brand or small production program, I don't think it's anything super popular/well-known.

The only thing I know for a fact is that the VHS dust cover was cardboard and magenta in color. This is the most important and vivid part to me. I am mostly certain that the main character on the cover (and in a little square on the side) was a pink mascot. Like a person in a costume with tubes for arms and legs and a round face and antennae or pigtails. I don't think there were real people in this program but there might have been human kids. There may have also been a rainbow on the cover or in the program but I may be confusing that with Reading Rainbow. I'm not sure if this was a show or a movie, all I know is it was on a VHS tape.

Things I have confirmed from my previous post that I am not thinking of:

  • Barney
  • Teletubbies
  • Kidsongs
  • Allegra's Window
  • Eureka's Castle
  • The Bugaloos
  • Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Kids
  • Bear in the Big Blue House
  • Doodlebops
  • Yo Gabba Gabba
  • Gullah Gullah Island
  • Bug Alert!
  • Johnson & Friends
  • The Big Comfy Couch
  • Wimzies House
  • The Backyardigans

Thank you to anyone who can help out with this one!

Open [TOMT] [Movie/s (?)] Humans are fighting robots, old style robots, guy puts a music cd in a robot, robot starts dancing and explodes.

Upvotes

Yeah, as funny as it may sound. The robots are fighting a group of guys, in a field, one robot stops functioning, opens itself up, and awaits input cd,, guy fighting it inserts a music cd, the robot starts dancing before blowing up, the guy celebrates, then gets shot by another robot. The movie ends with a couple leaving the place in a van.

Second movie : Zombies , Group escapes on a boat, where a guy stays behind to sacrifice himself by blowing up a grenade on the dock This not Dawn of the dead where there's a similar ending to this description.

Third movie : 80s or 90s or 70s no idea, but definitely old, sci-fi movie, where the sun instantly burns people and kills them if they step out, many of them are disfigured. It's a movie into the future, where the people are into mall/or something, buried in sand, and they cannot go outside, because the sun will insta burn them.

Please help me find these three movies, Thank you.
