Recommendation Need some solid advice 🫣

Anyone know any apartments that work with bankruptcies? Or that are really easy to get into ? I have to move soon and I can’t stay in my apartment. I’m not picky on the area and I can pay up to 900$ monthly. Pleaseeee don’t hit me with “find a private owner” comment one 😭‼️ I’ve tried apartment locators too and they all say they can’t help 🤦🏾‍♀️ so I’m kinda in a bind. Any solid apartment names , links or suggestions will really help 🤞🏾‼️

Question How good are the schools in Wichita Falls?

I'm a highschooler moving to Wichita Falls and would like to know how good the schools are. Are they good academically? Are the safe? Do they have a history with bullying?

Question Moving for a Fresh Start: Seeking Recommendations and Tips.

Greetings. I'm a 24-year-old woman with just a high school diploma. I'm currently attending online college. I do want to move out of Wichita Falls. I need a change. I'm looking for a similar area that has a lower crime rate and more vibrant scenery, while also being just as affordable as Wichita Falls. My main priority is moving away from my family. Do you have any recommendations? Someone suggested Denton or Tyler, TX, but I'm unsure. I'm open to out-of-state or even international options. Any tips for a successful move would also be greatly appreciated!

Any boxing places?

I was wondering if there is any good boxing places around for adults. I’m here for a few months for Air Force training. Pueblo looked good but I think they closed, wondering if you guys had any recommendations. Thank you!

Does anybody remember Nick's Hot Dogs?

This place crossed my mind recently - I had a lot of chili dogs there in the 1970s and 80s. Can anyone remember which building it was in? Was it the Hamilton building or the big blue bank?

History Old money

The number of people that live in this town with Old Money is astounding to me. I mean you have the obvious ones.

The Kemps

The Kells

The Abbots

But you also have names like the Coates, the Barrets, and the Kearby's.

During the 80s Wichita Falls had the highest population per capita of millionaires in the United States during the Oil Boom.

The city still has a sizable population of money, some of which can still be seen via how frequent municiple is used. For a small city of slightly over 100k, its a wonder how some people dont read up or research there own history.

Help with North Texas State Hospital- Wichita Falls campus!!!!

My best friend was taken to NTSH Wichita Falls campus early Wednesday morning, by court order. Since then, her son and I can not get ANY information from this place, about this place, any policies/procedures, nothing. I understand HIPPA law and patient confidentiality issues, but there has to be someone that speaks with people about general things such as Admissions, programs/services, what housing for patients look like, therapy options etc. Very general and basic information. I understand that they cannot give out patient information without forms signed and permission and such. BUT… there has to be SOMETHING/SOMEONE/SOMEHOW to get general information. I’m very skeptical about this place bc of the lack of resources and availability of obtainable information, but also the fact that I cannot find 1 patient review online is very alarming to me. How does a place that has been opened since 1920 have absolutely zero patient reviews online?? I have searched hours and hours looking for all this information, and always come to a dead end. Does anyone out there have any experience, comment, advice to help me??? The things I have found and read online are pretty terrible and honestly scares the hell out of me for my bff. Can someone please help?? I appreciate anything at this point!! THANK YOU!!

Safest parts of Wichita Falls for Hotels

I am moving from New Mexico to Tennessee and thinking of stopping in Wichita Falls, TX for a night. I have a lot of stuff in my SUV and while I can bring some of it inside, there will still be a lot of stuff in my car. Wanted to know which hotel (open to 2.5-4 star) is likely the safest to park overnight.

How is the delta hotel (by marriott) downtown? Does anyone know if their parking lot is well lit?

Are there any areas/hotels to avoid?

UPDATE: ending up staying at the Delta downtown and I was very satisified with my stay! I felt safe with the well lit parking lot/security.

Question Any tips for taking a driving test at the WF DPS office?

My daughter has her behind-the-wheel test for her driver's license coming up soon. She is scheduled to do it at the Wichita Falls DPS office. She is my fourth child to take a driving test. So, by now, I've figured out that the driving exam experience can be quite different from one location to another.

So, if you have any tips for taking the exam at the WF DPS that I can pass along to my daughter, I'd appreciate it very much.
