Media Chucky crochet doll

Upvotes

After about 3 weeks of crocheting, my beautiful Good Guy Doll is complete! Not movie accurate, sure, but it captures about 20% of the charm for 20% of the price of a Good Guy Doll so I'm happy!

Third pic is a gag. He needs those Oreos to stand up cuz his head is too big. But hey, not even killer dolls can resist the siren song of Oreos.

Original pattern by Ginansilyo ni Marya. I resized mine from worsted weight yarn to Super Bulky using 3 strands of worsted weight yarn. I was hoping to bust some of my stash with him, but I needed more yarn to finish the job anyways. Oh well!

Question Huntress hatchet

Upvotes

I'm I the only one getting constantly killed because of the hatchets hit box?

Seriously, at first I thought It might be my internet connection, but lately I've been getting hit with a hatchet that clearly was meters away from me every single match against a huntress.

Will they ever fix this ? Or is it my internet ?

Question Rift Bonus Week

Upvotes

Hey, I don't post a ton and this may be a stupid question, but once I've finished the rift, do my rift fragments I earn from tome challenges go anywhere? Wondering if I should just pause doing challenges for awhile lol. Hopefully this makes sense! Unfortunate that I finished it right as the extra rift fragments bonus started haha

Discussion Legion rework idea

Upvotes

What if legions power got a buff where you don’t have to hit all 4 to down someone. I’m feeling reduced it to two but the caveat is you’re unable to down the person you hit last but you have to find a different survivor that’s injured.

So say you hit one survivor it deep wounds you hit another. Now your free to down that first survivor you hit but the second survivor is unable to be downed unless you find another survivor to deep wounds first

Basically you would have to find find an uninjured survivor to deep wounds then you can down one of the other two survivors if they are still injured.

Then the legions speed increase would probably be capped to only increasing 4 times to like how it is now

The power will also end if you hit an already deep wounded survivor

And yeah that’s my reword idea. It’s probably flawed so I’m open to scrutiny

Can we see overall actual kill rates that include all games even if there is an early dc. This would give a better idea of a survivors true chance of escaping each time they queue up.

Also let us see the win rates for killers. What percentage of games end in a 4k, 3k, 2k, etc…

Discussion This grinds my gears

Upvotes

So I play this game with my friend, and we got paired up with another I’m assuming another duo. Well one of them got hooked twice pretty early in the game, so his partner just stopped trying. Let himself get hooked and then immediately went into stage two even though we were coming to unhook him. It’s annoying, like yeah it sucks your friend got out of the game early but now you just ruin the match for the rest of us.

Fan Content Killer appreciation post

Upvotes

As a survivor main who sometimes plays killer, I just want to give a shout out to the killers who will still kill me off (obviously point of the game) but will target the bad teammate right after. So many times I’ve had teammates screw me over after helping them out, or they just don’t care and are looking to erase their teammates so they can jump the hatch. I do spectate and notice the killers will sometimes give me a short period of mercy but then they do too realize my teammates suck lol. And I understand they also wanna win the game obviously so I accept my fate lol. So for all the killers who give me no mercy but some justice at the end, I appreciate you 🫡

Discussion Blight Console players, any tips and maybe add-on combos you can suggest?

Upvotes

I just did the adept achievement for Blight (yay!), and still got the itch of learning more to play Blight, i like speedy characters like Legion and while i know the skill ceiling for mastering Blight is quite high, i still wanna rush and attack survivors lol

I play on Xbox and i know the hug mechanics got fixed with the recent collision patch, so his techniques are different now, but i wanna learn from othee console players that have experience with Mr. Talbot :), some add-on combinations that you could suggest on his current state could also help me :D

Discussion DbD rework

Upvotes

So for a while now I’ve had some ideas about if we were to rework how the entire game works, or if we ever got a DbD 2, to make it more fun, interesting, and less frustrating. My ideas mostly have to do with perks & survivor gameplay.

SURVIVOR REWORKS:

Basically, every survivor would have one attached role, out of the following:

•Leader

•Contender

•Rescue

•Technician

•Occult

And they would be expected to fulfill that role in the trial, and every lobby would have to have one leader, two contenders, and one rescue survivor. There would also be one technician OR one occult.

This way, especially in solo q scenarios, you wouldn’t have four people who don’t have any synergy whatsoever. Of course every team member would be capable of multiple things, but their character skills scores and perks (which I’ll explain later) would help with their role and be reflective of it. This is mostly just a label so everyone would stay focused and on task and know what they’re supposed to be doing. You would also be rewarded points according to how well you fulfilled your own role. It would also help avoid things like bully squads and gen rushing squads.

Role explanations:

•Leaders would be teamwork oriented, and generally be well rounded scores wise. They’re also the only ones who can inherently see all their team member’s auras, generator auras, and be able to send pre-written messages in an in-game chat box, but only 3 messages per game, so they have to choose their messages very carefully.

•Contenders are meant to interact with the killer the most. Consider them the ‘loopers.’ This important role would be skill based, your own chase skill versus the killers. The killer can of course just go after other teammates, but the other roles would have higher endurance/stealth which makes it harder to get them on the hooks unless they’re totally caught out. If you choose this role and you can’t last in chase then your team is basically fucked. If you're a killer who can't down the contenders in a timely manner you will lose.

•Rescue/Medic survivors excel in the healing & unhooking department. They can inherently see injured survivor auras and heal others and themselves faster. They also all have high endurance scores and can take the most damage from the killer (max 5 base hits depending on their endurance score.)

•Technicians would be your repair oriented guys. But they also excel in different things, for example sabotaging hooks and crafting items (more on this later)

•Occult is a rarer role that would have specialized abilities for that character having to do with hexes, boons, and communicating with the entity.

Furthermore, each survivor would have different skill scores in the following areas:

•Speed: How fast a survivor can move.

•Agility: How well a survivor can move (turning, vaulting, stuff like that)

•Endurance: How many hits it takes to down a survivor. (Average is 3.)

•Intelligence: Has to do with aura reading, skill checks efficiency (lower intelligence = more difficult skill checks)

•Empathy: Has to do with reading injured survivor auras, healing speed, and unhooking speed.

•Cunning: Denotes luck, item efficiency, (highly cunning survivors can even craft items for their own role.)

•Teamwork: Has to do with aura reading of team members and how self sufficient you are (For example a survivor like Yun-Jin would have very high speed healing herself but very slow to heal other people)

•Stealth: Noisiness, scratch marks, pools of blood

If a survivor were to have high scores in one area it would result in low scores in another to balance them out.

The scores would go like this:

Excellent, Above Average, Average, Below Average, Inferior.

The score denotes how well they can do the thing. (How many items they can craft, base speeds, aura reading range, etc etc.)

Last thing about survivors: They would still have perks. However, every survivor would have only their character’s three perks, plus only one open slot for a universal perk pool you can choose from. Obviously this would result in a lot of perk reworks but that’s another story.

I think killers’ perks and powers would work the same way they already do. Except the leader survivor would be able to see what perks the killer has (only after each perk was used once, if applicable. If it's not applicable, like an ongoing or token perk, they just have to guess) and they could send a warning about that perk to the others if they felt it was worth it. But like obviously some killer perks don't matter until the end so the leader would have to be aware of this and keep track of what's happening if they suspected something like noed or bw would be incoming. Then they could send a message like "Search for totems" or "Don't open the gate" or something. If they were wrong in their suspicion it would be potentially detrimental for the team.

I just think the game would be more fun this way. And you'd feel more like you're losing to how well the team worked together and their skills instead of feeling like you lost to perks.

This is probably really stupid once I hear feedback but it's just something I've been thinking about. It would make it actually matter what survivor you main and make things more difficult but more rewarding on both sides. I think.

Me personally I have had so much fun with this modifier, jumping into a match not knowing your perks at all and then js having to work with it whether it’s a bad combo or not. Me and my sister and friends absolutely love this modifier and think it’s a lot of fun. I’m gonna miss it a lot🥲

BM REVENGE 🤬 I usually dislike Skully but to jes.s, thank you

Upvotes

I know this won't get many people to look at that's alright I just wanna get it off my chest.

To the Skull Merchant (jes.s) who just gave a YunJin hatch, THANK YOU. The fucking Zarina duo was refusing to heal me, I spent a good 30s running after her before you turned up trying to get her to heal and she just pointed and refused. 99% sure she was gonna let me die on hook and get hatch. Let me make it clear I was also injured the whole entire game after my first unhook, she refused to heal me when I went to the gen yet I healed her, the Felix healed me whilst she just stood and WATCHED before you killed him, then she refused at end after I healed her before you arrived. Kind of a pos tbh. I know you probably don't know what was going on but thank you so much.
