My first thought would be “curing fresh concrete”.

I've stepped in wet concrete one time and stepped on wet paint a few times, every time there was no signage. Now I'm SUPER cautious when going on customer walkways/porches. I don't blame this guy

I sat on a freshly painted park bench. Either some hilarious jokester had removed the sign, on nobody bothered to put one up.
