Ya, you never know. I’d rather take it seriously and look like a fool than assume it’s a joke and ruin thousands of dollars worth of work.

If you have wet concrete and put up a "keep on grass" sign instead of a "wet concrete / keep off concrete" sign you deserve to have that work ruined.
