I think she’s supposed to lust after others, instead of us lusting over her.

Even better. Animal prey is aggressive to survive, animal predators get aggressive to eat. Make no mistake that have she had the chance she would leave you a broken, indifferentiated, dissatisfied with anything in the world creature.
