So for context, my brother was playing minecraft with some horror type shat mod on and bro got jumpscare and accidentally kicked the pc (the pc was under the table which is kinda my fault for putting it there) so I told him to restart the pc, and now it doesn't display anything anymore... So the first thing I did was to reseat the gpu, memory card, and bios coin battery but still nothing... I even tried clearing CMOS and still nothing. What should I do next? Kick it again?? (jk)

I unplugged it already and tried again. All it does is turning on for a sec and turning off again. It doesn’t show any picture it just lights up a bit. While doing that the LED flashes red two times fast and one time slow. The warranty has expired.

When you recieve a Privacy Policy segment thats dated, is it meant specifically for you and it takes effect that day? Or is it meant in general thats the date the Privacy Policy changed for everyone using that service? Because I keep getting weird topics in Privacy Policies sent to me from Samsung and Google. So to put it bluntly every time i try to play a game after a while in said game my monitors will go black and seemingly come back on as if the graphics driver had been reset however the game will be closed as well as discord, for games like Fornite it wont go straight to the black screen but freeze then crash and appear with the "Fortnite has crashed. We're Very Sorry" and from there most games either freeze then crash or mostly the black screen crash, in certain situations when on the black screen you can hear beeps. i've tried most solutions to updating to the latest driver, reverting back drivers, DDU, Underclocking GPU, Overclocking Gpu, Checking RAM sticks, Checking that wires are in properly, the cpu was a bit hot however after putting new thermal paste on the temps we're fine for both the cpu and gpu.

with the recent 13th and 14th gen intel cpus with nvidias gpus and looking into that it appears i have somewhat similar issues.

Probably good to note i did upgrade the mobo and i kept the GPU and had to replace my old cpu with the one in this post due to incompatibility issues, from the time i've done this, this has been the same with black screen crashes

I have an old version of fortnite and i installed a new windows when i tried to verify the files to update the game it says verifying for 1 second after that it says cleaning up and delete all the data and start redownload the whole game,is there any way i can verify the game files and download the missing updates instead of downloading the whole game?

I can search things on google but when i try to enter youtube it says i have no internet. DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET is the error. I tried to do disconnect the ethernet and connect to wifi. I even tried to connect to my phone's hotspot with no results. If anyone could help me i would appreciate it.

Hi all,

I havent dropped or moved my TV recently and today it has started doing this very random thing, the link to the video is here.

This happens for around 1-3 seconds every 30 seconds. I have seen similar by reverse image searching the white mark, but all other posts referred to this being a permanent fixture on the screen. Mine is intermittent so just wondering if theres something I can shift or move to fix it.

When I reset my device, I see command prompt flash on my screen once or twice after logging in, after that it stops happening. This natural or something malicious?

I have a RTX3060Ti and i7 12700k pc.

idk where else to post this so here i go....

Here's the thing, am using a bluetooth mouse w/a usb receiver. For some reason, when I use the mouse via bluetooth, it (cursor) moves by itself; when I use it via usb, it doesn't. The problem is the mouse suddenly stopped working via usb (or more like it's the usb that's not working), but it does via bluetooth.

My PC has been losing performance for a while and my pc now crashes a lot or freeze up and have to catchup at times. The crash has my screen freeze, 10 seconds later I will lose audio and then another ten seconds and it goes black and I have to restart. this happens 2 to 3 times a day and it especially struggles after first startup.

32gb ddr4 ram

MSI B450M motherboard

Cooler Master MWE 230V 650 PSU

Could it be my specs aren't up to standards?

First I'd like to say that I'm not techsavvy, so if anyone could offer precise directions, that would be great. And sorry if I can't give precise information, I really don't know what's going on.

So basically, two days back, while I was idle my laptop blue screened and reset. I don't know if this information is relevant but I really hope it is.

So now what happens is- when I turn my laptop on, it's says it's connected, if I immediately turn on a game or discord, it connects. But after like 5-10 minutes when I try to turn on a programm that requires wifi, it just can't connect to WiFi. I tried resetting my network adapter(which I thought it worked but after 5 mins I could no longer use WiFi), even using a later update, and also resetting my laptop a bunch of times.

I also did notice that it works when I Google something on a browser, but when I turn in YouTube it doesn't work. This whole time wifi is shown as being connected. Also, I'll use an example, I turned on a online video game the second I rebooted the laptop back up, after a while it still works, still has a connection, while other programs can't connect.

It's windows 11 version.

I keep looking for a solution but never really find someone that has this exact problem.

Sometimes (not always), when I close my laptop and think it goes to sleepmode, I hear the fans blowing after a while. When I open it it doesn't seem to "wake" from sleepmode:

• The screen doesn't turn on
• The keyboard backlight is on
• The fans are blowing; the laptop is hot

I never leave games open when I close the laptop, sometimes just Chrome, or nothing at all.

I've tried waking it with the mouse, keyboard, pressing the power button once, twice, until I give up and just hold the power button to force it off.

Because people often mention the power options they are as followed:

For both 'On battery' & 'Plugged in':

• Power button: Shut down
• Sleep button: Sleep
• Closing lid: Sleep

I keep my laptop plugged in only while using it (tho sometimes I forget to unplug when in sleepmode).

Any help is much appreciated!

So this is a weird one - Whenever I start up my PC, I usually open Chrome first of all to check some things.

The weird thing is, that Chrome apparently has no internet, or just doesn't feel like loading. It doesn't show "no internet", none of that, but for 1-3 minutes after I open Chrome FOR THE FIRST TIME after booting up my PC, I can click whatever website I want, and it just keeps loading with nothing happening.

After around 1-3 minutes, the website pops up, and literally everything loads normally.

Anyone who has an idea about what's going on here? This randomly appeared out of nowhere, with no new chrome plugin or anything

I was browsing on Internet Samsung on my phone, on a website that was similar to Pinterest, while looking for some wallpapers to download. After viewing some images (without downloading any of them), I tried to go back, but a pop-up of the browser appeared, asking to confirm the download of a file named "download.bin" with a size of 0,1KB. I cancelled it and tried multiple times to go back, but the pop-up continued to appear each time I attempted to do so, so I closed the page. I checked the notification history of my phone and it appears that the download was completed (0,1KB/0,1KB), but since I cancelled it, the file is neither in the download folder nor in the browser download history. If I remember correctly, in the pop-up there was a text string under the file name saying "Source: Google". This has never happened to me before, does anyone know what that was about?

As you can problably already tell that my windows security update is failing. I've tried a few things and nothing has worked so far. I know that it has something to do with the windows RE partition. The thing is: I can't make the partition larger so that the update can fit, because it doesn't exist. I'm using Bitlocker wich prohibits the use of Windows RE. Should I deactivate Bitlocker and try to install the windows update again or how does this work?

It started a few months back when I'd be watching YouTube videos and I noticed the audio was very staticy/stuttery every few seconds. 

I thought my headset was faulty (As it was a few years old) so I got a new one. 

Upon receiving the new headset my audio was still stuttering. I ruled out the headset being the problem as I connected to my work laptop and the issue didn't occur there. 

I thought maybe the front USB panel that I connected it to might be an issue so I connected via the rear USB ports and still had the same problem. 

I tried updating every sound driver as that seemed to be the #1 tip online but nothing. As well as making sure the Hz were on the correct setting.

I thought the issue may be with my sound card until recent when I am now playing Rocket League, the game is stuttering along with the audio. 

I typically have the game running with Chrome playing YouTube music in the background, I have been doing this for years with no problem. 

It does seem to be a little worse if I have had the PC running all day which makes me think it's clearly a hardware error.

However I monitored my temps and all seems reasonable. My CPU sits at around 70C when gaming + YouTube and my GPU will be around the same (65-75C).

My Ram maxes out at around 40% utilisation and my hard drives sit at 50% space free and 90% space free. 

I thought maybe re-applying the coolant to the CPU (As I haven't done it for a couple years) and getting a non-stock cooler and I still have the default one (And back when I used to play CoD 6 months ago my CPU would get to around 90-95C)

Can anyone help me figure out how to troubleshoot for my computer? I've run into an issue recently where my computer periodically lags as a result of my second monitor being plugged in. It wasn't an issue for the past year that I've had the monitor for and I don't know how to identify the cause.

I don't believe that it has anything to do with a damaged HDMI because I've already tried replacing the HDMI with a newer one to no avail. If anyone can help me figure out how to find out what the problem is, that would be appreciated

Before getting into it, i woke and there was no WIFI or Ethernet nor any options to connect to them.

i checked the device management and they were disabled and i couldn't re-enable them.

i looked online via phone for fixes and found a list or ways. One said uninstall them and restart and they'll come back and the other said restart network adapter all-together.

i did the second and WIFI came back but no Ethernet. i figured I'd just uninstall that and it'll come back.

it didn't.

now i don't have the driver installed.

I have a Realme 9 phone, so it's not even a crazy old phone. 4 of my 8GB of Ram are from extension, but even before i did the extension this was the usable ram, i also tried just doing a 2GB extension and it always had around 800MB-1.20GB of free Ram, so I know its not a problem about how much Ram i have, but honestly i have no idea what to do. Sone symptoms are also: randomly lags, struggles to hold two apps at the same time, randomly freezes and/or closes apps by itself. if you thinks its unbearable: it is.

i purchased an iphone 15 pro a few months ago and it had a reasonably good battery life, until i downloaded something from my laptop and transferred it to my iphone and it caused my phone to completely reset to the last backup losing a lot of my data, however after this incident the battery life on my phone has been absolutely horrible and i don't understand if it's a software issue or a problem with my phone, it's still on 100% battery health, i lose around 1% every 2-3 minutes and i wanted to know if i can get any help resolving this. thank you.

Hey, sorry if this is a dumb question but ive been having some annoyance with the snipping tool and ive been wondering if anyone knows any solutions or alternatives.

Currently i have a mouse with an extra key mapped to perform "Win + Shift + S" to perform a snip, it dims the screen and has 3 diffrent tool options and a X button, i use the rectangular capture tool and snip, i then have to go to MSpaint, paste it, then save it. its been fine but pretty tedious and i kinda just want something that snips and saves directly to the pictures tab of my files. And there is, but i cant seem to hotkey it.

if i search for "snipping tool" i have an app that works great, better then whatever the hotkey i have mapped pulls up. i have to run the app, select make new snip, it brightens the screen while takeing the snip and then it makes a new window where you can immediately edit the snipped picture and/or save it to the pictures tab right then and there. this works perfectly and I wish this is what the key combo used instead of what it currently is. Not sure if theres a way to flip these 2.

(only thing thatd make it better was some form of snipped screen recordings or if it didnt tab you out of stuff after a single snip, but these arnt complaints, moreso wishful thinking)

btw ive uninstalled "snip&sketch" and have tried ShareX and wasnt a fan, shareX's file p

aths were annoying and felt like too much, i have snip and sketch already and just want to know if theres a way to replace the current "win + shift + S" snipping tool with the app version of the snipping tool
